Greetings! Steemians, I'm glad to participate in this week Campus Connect contest titled "Life After College".
One of the most memorable and pleasant times in one's life is when they are in school. You relax during that time and just go with the flow. But what happens once we graduate from college ? We are taught all of the mathematical equations, but we are not equipped for life beyond college. After college, a more practical approach is required. It is a pivotal period in your life that will shape your future. We must prepare ahead of time so that life after college will be comfortable for us. Setting objectives and establishing a career are the most crucial things to do.
Tell us about the life you want after college
I got admission to study Agric Extension but one thing led to another , I switched to Physiotherapy at university of Nigeria, I have been in school for the past 6years for 5years course to the glory of God am expected to leave school this year December , the life I want after college is to pursue my career orthotics device design. I love Design so much that I want to put it into use in my field of study, The life I want after school is to be able to afford what at any point in time and orthotic device is one of most sorted after equipment used for treatment most especially in the military's because most the people that lost the part of their body or function needs artificial replacement to be able to perform the activity of daily living. I believe my life after school is already planned .
Tell us if you will go for a Master Degree and PHD program ?
Yes!! I will like go for masters into to correlate physiotherapy to design because all I know how to do is to design and physiotherapy so I really want to further so that I can be able to interpret design in respect to physiotherapy because that is what will single me out from other physiotherapist in the field .
Tell us if you will Practice what you studied in school ?
Yes!! I will surely practice but in advance level
In conclusion You must create goals in order to advance your profession. The objectives may not have to be long-term. You can set both long-term and short-term goals to attain success. To begin, decide on a career path that interests you. It's quite improbable that you'll excel in areas that you're not passionate about. Similarly, make certain that it has a good future potential.
