Giving Up Should Never Be An Option

A lot of people tend to give up easily when they try something once, twice or maybe thrice and are unable to achieve their aim or there are unable to succeed or reach their goal. Giving up, sometimes, is usually not the answer, especially if you know your plans will yield profitable result when you achieve them. When you try to do something or become something but you fail, that doesn't make you a failure. It is trying to let you know that there is/are something you were supposed to do in order to get the result you need but haven't done it. Therefore, instead of giving up, you should try to look into them and also fix them no matter how many times you fail till you succeed. There are some famous people who had tried and failed numerous times without giving up till they succeeded and I'll love to introduce them to us.

Henry Ford: Henry Ford, who invented the automobile went broke five times before succeeding in business.

Fred Astaire: The great dancer and movie star, Fred Astaire, took a screen test in MGM Studios in 1933. A studio memo before then had reported that he was slightly bald, could not act, and could not dance a little.

Louisa May Alcott: The family of Louisa, had thought that she should abandon the idea of being a writer and become a seamstress instead. She believed in herself and worked harder to become what she wants. She became a great author who wrote the popular book, Little Women.*

Walt Disney: The newspaper fired Walt Disney for lack of ideas, and he went bankrupt several times before building Disneyland.

Enrico Caruso: Enrico Caruso's parents believed a voice teacher who said he had no future in music - he simply could not sing at all. Enrico did not believe the teacher but went on to become one of the most famous opera singers in the world.

Theodore Roosevelt: He suffered the deaths of both his mother and his wife on the same day in 1884 before he became a wat hero and a very effective president of the United States.

John Wesley: John Wesley, the founder of methodism, was often asked not to return to churches after preaching in them once. When he preached on the streets, town's people kicked him out. When he preached in a meadow, people turned a bull loose on him. But later, because he refused to give up, he preached in a pasture and 10,000 people came to listen to him.

Winston Leonard d Spencer Churchill: His premature birth occurred on November 30, 1874, two months before it was due. He was born into a well-to-do family, but his parents had no time for him. He suffered very many challenges in life as he was imprisoned, he got involved in an accident, he was scolded in school, etc. However, he contested the parliament seat and won narrowly, after which he rose to become Great Britain's Prime Minister.

He showed particular courage and strategic leadership during world war II, virtues people claim rescued Great Britain from the ravage of the war. While visiting the school where he studied as a youngster, he is reported to have given a three-word speech: "Never give in" after which he promptly returned to to his seat.

Finally, ivory soap was never intended to float. It floats because of a manufacturing error and its buoyancy is the quality that distinguishes it from other soaps in the market.

I too have always been on the verge of giving up but whenever I take my mind back to the achievements of some of our heroes, who never gave up no matter how many times they fail or lose, I also make up my mind not to give up but keep trying and pushing hard. I hope you find my post useful for your perusal. Thanks for going through it
