The Psychology In Trading

Most often we do talk about one strategy or the other, we ask whether these strategies work or not, we move from one course to another looking for what works.

When we are done learning a particular strategy, we get so excited, that after the first two trades in profit we tends to risk more than we can bear, now the trade goes in the wrong direction we get so frustrated that we don't want to see or hear someone talk about these strategies, you probably must have experienced these, it sounds familiar right?

Or we get to see the market make a massive move, we see people that took advantage of the massive move and are in huge profit,we count how much we would have made and we get so frustrated with our strategy because there was no anticipatory signal that the move will happen. what happens next, you probably be thinking what I am thinking, we discard these strategies to look for another, forgetting that there's no holy grail, and this goes on and on that we get trapped in a circle of doom and never gets profitable

Now it's not that these strategies doesn't work, but I our mind we want these strategies to work perfectly all the time, the sad truth is that they can't be and can never be 100% efficient, but you don't need your strategy to be 100% efficient to be profitable, what you is a right mindset and sticking to your plan, risking what you can bear, so you don't get frustrated with your strategy. Keep it simple and consistent you will be profitable at the end.
