Hello everyone, How are you doing? , today, let me bring you along my exploration of my journey, yesterday, I was able to take a trip from Abuja to Lagos by Car.

I woke up around 6:00a.m in the morning, I was ready for the journey as it always took roughly 13hours, then I decided to get to the park as early as possible, lucky me, the car was almost filled up, the driver told me it would cost 10,000 NGN(92 steem) which I agreed on, then as soon as 7:15a.m, we took off to begin the journey from Abuja to Lagos.

After we took on the journey for about 4 hours, the car was still moving non-stop, the journey was intriguing and entertaining as there were boys along which everyone was just gisting, and the driver was as well playing music to spice up things, as at 11:00 a.m, we passed Kogi state and now, we were heading towards Ekiti State, then the rain started falling and a little bit heavy in some location, our driver keeps moving due to his expert skills, and he got a call from a friend of His.

His friend is also a fellow Motor Driver like him, telling him he had an accident, around Omu(Entrance to Ekiti State) side, that means we were still at his back, so the driver speed and in 30 min time, we as well got to him, the location of his accident, Thank Goodness, there was no injury victim as the lady at the front and the driver were on the seat belt.

The picture above was the accident scene, as the motor literally left the road and dash straight into the bush, the passenger complained it was due to over speed and the sharp corner, the driver was said to be speeding at 140Km/h which was not safe while raining and the floor are already slippery, getting there, there were already FRSC(Federal Road Safety Corps) at the scene taking a look at the situation in case of emergencies, but everyone was fine and so is the driver.

Then afterward, every other car stopped by to help in all ways possible, then we all try to push the car out of the bush, it was a little bit stuck, but we were able to help with the help of others too.

Eventually, we were able to tow the car out of the bush by using our car as well, which the driver had to cut his booth belt, and we as well cut our booth belt and then use ours to drag the car out of the booth, the car as well was not much damaged, but the driver was asked to go back into the city and fix the car Wheel as it was sort of misbehaving already, some hours later, he called to inform our driver that he has got it fixed, and they are back on the Journey.

Due to the stop-over, we had to assist the accident, I got home a little bit longer than expected, and I was able to get to Lagos at 7:00p.m, then I took in the shower to relive the day off.

Conclusion

That was how my experience went by the day on my visit back home, it was indeed a scary moment of seeing the crash, but I was much relieved when I got to know that there was no injury or victim.

Travelling was one of the things that scared me the most, but I believe there is no way to escape that, we just pray and hope for more safety.

Thank You all for reading my post, I shall see a great deal of you next time.
