Greetings family, In the society today, many parents keep blaming technology for all the badluck and terror in the society. They claim it's Technology that spoils the world and their children but amidst all this, they end up being huge users of technology too themselves.

My dad happens to hate phones, playstations, laptops and so on but no one in our family uses phones as much as he does. He would be on Facebook and be driving at high speeds. He is the kind of person who feels that he is the only one that uses phones for important things while others use them for games and leisure.

Each time I pick up my phone to make a post on Steemit, he starts giving me lectures on why phones would ruin my life. He says the light from the screen is not good for the eye then he says the phone's electromagnetic radiation affects the body and this is all really funny to me.

In the world today, it's almost impossible for a teenager/ student to live without a Mobile device, laptop or majorly used technological devices except you plan on going into the wilderness and feeding on holocaust and wild bees.

Basic Uses of Technology By Students

° To Stay Updated

As a student, you always have the urge to stay up to date on the happens around you, the country and when it comes to departmental and faculty matters. You have to know when you have a class and when you don't.

° For Research Purpose

Some lecturers might want to task some students by giving them heavy assignments or projects which task students to do heavy research and some do these with their devices while some others utilize the ICT laboratory. Imagine what and how they would do it without technology and the internet.

° To keep Themselves Busy

After class, some students don't have anything better thing to do so what other better thing could there be than to go online, chat, play some games and so on. The times when my battery dies used to be one of the most boring times in my life and I used to feel so restless until my phone gets life so these are all from experience.

° To Earn a Living

In the school setting, not everyone is chanced to work a part time job or the jobs aren't even available to just anyone so to the ones who can't find end up using their phones to do it. Steemit as well as other chances exist on phones to make money so people like me utilize phones and laptops to do these things. Even crypto traders and stock traders amongst students need technology.

° Betterment and Easing Life Processes

By providing easier communication, calculation, working, research, transportation and basically everything technology has successfully made the lives of students and the whole world at large much better than it was in the past traditional era. Imagine schools without technology, we would probably be sitting on rocks while the teachers use chalk and stones to teach us.
