Steemit Engagement Challenge S9W4 - The Steem Say No to War
Hello steemian friends, I'm @wasa2020 from Nigeria. I'm so happy today to share my entry in the contest of this community today with the title "The Steem Say No to War". I love the topic of this engagement contest and that is why I have decided to share my participation.
Before I will present my entry, I will like to invite @bossj23, @dave-hanny, @yakspeace, @josepha and @ruthjoe to also join the contest today.
Are you for or against war? Explain your answer
I'm against war. We have experienced some effects of war in this part of Nigeria and I must say it is not something anyone will support if they have the opportunity to choose. We have a community crisis that has left a whole number of people homeless till this moment.
So after seeing how war affects humans, I will not or will never support war in any way. War has cost the loss of lives and properties. In my area today we have lots of displaced people because of the effect of war.
I believe no one will support the war because of the destruction and catastrophes that come with it. Don't pray to see or witness it in any way because you may not live to give the story. Many have died already because of the presence of war.
What is the meaning of the phrase "Peace & Love"?
Peace and love are the direct opposite of war and violence. Where ever there is peace and love, war and violence won't be able to stay there because the people living in that place are people of peace.
With the absence of peace and love, violence and war takes over the entire area. So people prefer to preach peace and love because it doesn't lead to disaster and hatred. More also peace and love are words used by different people to promote or eradicate the absence of war.
If you had to create a slogan for world peace, what would it be? Be creative.
If I had to create a slogan for world peace, it will be With peace and love we grow together. This is true for all peace promoters. Every community, country or nation that needs growth in any way must embrace peace and love.
When there is peace and love, there is easy growth because you look at everyone as your brothers and sisters and you will want to do anything in your power to make the person happy. So together builds a community, a nation or even the world faster than any other thing.
