How did steemit change my life? I can write much about it. I joined steemit in October 2020. I was heartbroken because of numerous reasons. I lost two best friends for some reason, and they were the only friends I had at that moment. I cried many nights. I had no one to discuss what was going on in my head. I was weakened. Then after months, I realized I was wasting myself and my abilities like this. There was a pandemic we all know, and I thought of doing something and starting a business. The first business that I created flopped, but I thanked God I didn't invest a large amount of my money, or maybe I was skint; with a little money, I started, and put 100% of my energy into it. I thought it was okay to fail, then I started working as a freelancer and worked with an agency, but you know what? They scammed me, and after working the whole month, I ended up with nothing. I was so peeved by that and started searching for what can I do next. I was turning 18, and my goal was to give my university fees by myself. My father never said anything regarding it, but it was my choice.

After searching for a month, I found a post on Facebook stating how we can make money, and it requires no experience etc. I contacted him, and he told me about steemit. At first, I didn't get it because I first heard about the decentralized blogging platform, and it's like other social media and cryptocurrencies etc. He told me that this site would give you a return, and I didn't believe him. I committed myself that l won't be using Instagram. Instead of insta, I'll be giving time to Steemit.

You know I was used to spending 9-10 hours on my phone. I can't believe how much problematic it was for me. I started using steemit and making posts. I was introduced to the steemalive community, and the people of Nigeria were so welcoming. I joined their WhatsApp group, and guess what? @hassanabid and @haidermehdi in that group and they introduced me to steemit Pakistan. I started making posts on steemit Pakistan. There were very few active people at that time, and I always remember I became the contest winner because of less competition; it was effortless. Then haidermehdi invited me o project hope community. Then I explored more and more and got to know about different communities. I found Steem Srilanka; they gave me delegation because I ran out of it. I was the first one who got posted in the women's club, and steemcurator01 fully supported me alhamdulillah.

POSITIVE IMPACT

I am able to donate and help others financially now alhumdulillah. I am blessed in many ways. The happiness after helping others make me more happy than spending on myself. I dont like taking pictures while helping someone that's why I never post such things or maybe rearly.

I have built up much confidence in myself and learned how to do teamwork. I was never a team player before. I met different people who taught me something new. Different cultures and ways of living. I wish there to meet all the steemains one day.

I pay my university fees by myself. I helped my father financially, and I buy many things I had wished for before. Alhumdulillah. But of course, not now because I'm in #club100.

I've no plan to leave this platform because it has become my addiction, and it's a better place to spend my time.
