In medical institutions, when patients get well, people pray for the doctor with all their heart. But along with the doctors, the nurses who take care of them day - night and send them back home after making them healthy are also entitled to those blessings. To celebrate the contribution of nurses and their importance, 'International Nurses Day' is celebrated every year on 12th May.

Nurses have to go through a lot of stress. To make themselves mentally healthy, many nurses make work within their medium, while many also talk to their colleagues and take counselling from senior colleagues.

The way nurses are risking their lives and leaving their families and homes to serve patients day and night, they are certainly worthy of respect. They not only risk their lives but also their mental health as the initial stages in medical sector can be traumatic due to the complex cases that arrive . If today they step back giving importance to their safety, then chaos will spread everywhere and it will probably become impossible to handle the situation. A nursing system is a very important pillar of the medical system.

To express gratitude for the contribution of nurses filled with sacrifice, dedication, service and affection and to boost their morale, World Nurses Day is celebrated every year on 12th May on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the mother of modern nursing.

Nurses are great people who work day and night in the service of others without caring for themselves. If there is no availability, then it is very difficult for the person to get well even after the doctor's treatment. The doctor operates in the hospital but we only bandage the wound. Dressing the patient from time to time, giving him medicines, taking care of him, all this is the work of the nurse.
This is a great work in the field of service which does not get the respect it deserves. Everyone praises the doctor but no one looks at the nurse. Taking him on a wheelchair or giving him injections, dressing him from time to time, making him laugh, all this is done by the nurse. She gives life to a dejected person, she fills him with courage. She is like a mother who wins everyone's heart with her mothering. This is what I think.

To be honest, like everyone else, I too am scared. If it is the time of Covid-19 and I get an opportunity to become a nurse, I will have to think a lot. It may take me some time to gather courage but I also have a feeling inside me that I want to serve people, so after thinking about it, I would like to take care of people in difficult situations. I know I won't make things right at first but under guidance I will do it rightly. Not everyone gets an opportunity to save people so if I will get one , I will go ahead .

Yes but it's not me . My father is a BP patient. So he often visits hospital for regular checkups. I never went with him , my mother did . So I can't really answer this question but still I am sure that nurses do very well . There performance rating does not depends upon opinions of us common people. They do try hard and this fact won't ever change .

We should respect every profession. No work is small or big . Nurses are people who help others live and recover from major injuries like thier own family . Let's together respect ❤ them for their contributions to society.
