Hello great minds , its always a great privillege to make a post on steemit platform . Firstly i want to appreciate the organizers of this season's contests, i can say it has really been so phenomenal for most of us in this great community and the community itself has experienced massive engagement .

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT STEEMIT

I got to know about steemit in October 2020, through my friend and neighbor @whitestallion, the found of @campusconnectng.
Prior to the time he introduced the platform to me , we both were in a crypto trading group where trades and signals were being called on daily basis for the group members. i remember we both made losses due to trading pump . So, oneday he came to my shop and told me that there is this platform that rewards authors with cryptocurrency for creating quality content. Honestly i was not interested at all cause he told me that i have to take pictures to support my post . He kept pestering me until i decided to give it a trial.

WHY I DECIDED TO JOIN STEEMIT

After much persuasion from @whitestallion , i decided to join steemit .
Firstly, he had proof. How do i mean by he had proofs. Remember that i said that we were both in the same crypto group where signals of pumps where called and we both made incredible losses. So when he first told me about steemit , i didnt just what to go into what will stress me and at the end i will make losses. But he told me that i will not loose any thing and he tried as much as he could to be very open to me with his earnings . So each day, he would come and tell me and as well showed me how much he had earned through votes. Then oneday, he ran to my shop as usual and told me that SC01 voted his post and that so increased his money . in just few months he had made so much money. And i also realize that his knowledge about crypto increased cause he was always writing. Immediately i told him to register me , after registering me , i did my Achievement 1 post . But due to lack of good device i didnt continue with steemit until November 2021 when i decided to get a laptop and give steemit my best shot.
I can basically say that , i took the decision to join steemit because of the earnings of my friend and he much knowledge he had acquired in a short while.

HOW STEEMIT AND STEEM CHANGED MY LIFE

Steemit is one platform that has changed not just my life but the lives of so many people around the world. It has given hope to the hopeless .

• Enhanced writing skills: First off, steemit improved my writing skills. Before i joined steemit, i never believed i could write any quality article on my own. Before now, when i read what people write, i would wonder where on earth they emerge from . cause i never thought someone could sit and create something without neccesarily lifting it from another person's work but when i joined steemit , everything changed. i sat down and started thinking on how to make a quality and educative post . This i have been able to achieve. Although it was not easy at first but the more i write the easy it is for me and this has really expanded my knowledge and enhanced my writing skills.

• Finance : Apart from enhancing my writing skills, joining steemit has also put some more in my pocket. Although have not cashed out that's because i have not yet decided to withdraw . i knew where i was financially before i joined steemit and where i am now that i am in the platform. Anytime i look at my steemit wallet , my heart leaps with joy knowing that i am going somewhere.
  When i decided to rejoin steemit last year November, @whitestallion encourged me to acquire a laptop . Although i didnt have all the money packed somewhere but i had to buy it. Today , i have made even much more than that .

money spent on acquiring this laptop is fully recovered and much more

• Friends : Joining steemit has connected me to so many decent, intelligent , and reasonable great minds. These ones inspired me to keep keeping on . when i see how consistent and resolute they are, it motivates me to always aim to go higher in the system. Though i have not met some physically but they ones that i have come in contact with are just remarkably amazing. They just have one thing in common and that's the spirit of humility.

• Steemit promotion: Because of the beauty of steemit, i have been actively involved in promoting steemit to my friends and people around me. when i realize the person could read and write, i will encourage him or her to join steemit both the young people and old. If the person does not want to write, i will encourage him or her to become an investor

I must say that steemit has really been a huge source of blessings to me and to many around the world. And i truly appreciate that.
