Income and Skills Development
Indeed I feel delighted to participate in this contest to share my benefits living with steem. Before I joined steem, I was very active in many social medias like facebook, instagram and twitter. Despite my activeness, I never benefited anything from those posts aside from some friends like and commenting on them. Some friends would even make comments that would make me feel bad or sad. Ever since I joined Steemit, I am always confident that I am not wasting my time and data. Even though I have not physical withdrawn and make use of money from this platform due to a mistake I made last year when I wanted to sell my steem that made @roqqusteem to forfeit my steem. I am always proud to participate in steem because I know that I will benefit one day.
Steem does not only reward me with financial benefits but has help me immensely in developing my writing skills. Before I joined steem I used to be very lazy about writing but after I joined steem I began to develop interest in writing, especially with the word count limit it helped me to develop my vocabulary such that I can now play with words. I did not know anything about cryptocurrency but steem has privided the platform for me to learn and even benefit from it.
Drawing skills and how to source for free images and even edit them using free design websites have been developed from my knowledge of steem.
Community and Social Support
Indeed the support I have received from the community is enormous, it is only a few community that I am not known that I post my writings without getting support. Steem Entreprenuers, Steem for Ladies, Steem 4 Nigeria, Steem kids & Parents are those special and adorable communities that every time I make a post does not fail to support me. The support from the steem team itself is so much and I appreciate all of them.
Aside from the financial support I receive from making a post, I have been able to connects and make new friends within my country, Nigeria and across the world. This is possible through the opportunity of commenting and making positive contributions to my posts.
Tagline "Steem for Better Life"
Indeed Steem is for Better Life. The job that I am now doing during the written test, I was asked to write a composition on "The Role of Teacher's in Nation Building" and I was able to pass the test because of the writing skills developed from steemit platform. I was able to secure that job which I am now doing. Which was why immediately I was paid my first salary in January, I had to use all my salary to fix my laptop battery, keyboard and purchase a wifi-modem so I can return back to the steem platform and continue writing.
My knowledge about other countries and their culture, food, etc had been broadened through reading other people's posts.
I know with hard work and consistency in remaining active in the steem platform I will recover my lost steem and even make more money from the steem platform, that is why I am not giving up.
