Hi friends, it is time for me to take part in this business review contest by this wonderful community.

Business activities are carried out both far and near and it's what anyone can carry out. However, it's not everyone that engages in a business is successful. But to be successful, a business owner has to make a review of his business activities from time to time. This will reveal if he or she is heading towards success or not.

What actually is business? Or business activities and for what purpose?

Business activities are activities a business engages in for profit-making purposes, such as operations, investing, and financing activities. -Investopedia

From the foregoing, it can be that of making...... Like fashion designing as the case maybe. But in all the purpose is to make profit.

Today, I want to help @esthyfashion, who is one of us here to review her business. This business is that of fashion. She is a fashion designer. It is relatively new but has been heading in the line of being successful but that rating will have to wait until am done with the review.

About Esthyfashion world

The background
This fashion designer was once an apprentice. According to her, she had the desire to become one starting from childhood. She will use the needle at home to practice sewing pieces together. It was her dream to become a fashion designer and today she is one. After her training in December 2019 and that was when she started practicing and established her own fashion shop which she named Esthyfashion world. Since then, she has grown to the extent of having trainees, about 5 of them.

Her name is Esther Bassey who is just a young girl in her early 20s but she is known as @esthyfashion here in steemit. She joined steemit on may 2021 and she has shared so many tutorials on how to make dresses of different kinds here in steemit. You can check her page to see for yourself

Esthyfashion world is domicile in Uyo the capital city of Akwaibom State Nigeria, precisely at No. 660 Oron Road

Apart from being present offline, she has established her presence on other social media platforms like Facebook and steemit. Her Facebook page

There she markets her products and therefore creates awareness of her little business. Since she knows what she is doing, many people come to like and to order for their clothes and she always delivers promptly.

Her Services

Since she is a fashion designer, she designs dresses of all kinds for her clients who either goes to her shop to book her services or contact her via social media for the service.

The picture above is her measurement form and it contains what she can make or design ranging from blouses, to skirts, shirts, trousers and so on. These can be on both traditional attires,

So, after the agreement is sealed, she measures the client and designs the clothes accordingly. She has designed for so many clients of hers including me. So when it comes to designs, she has them at her finger tips. Soon, am going to show you some her designs.

I was opportuned to interview her to find out about her changes. Well, according to her, she doesn't have any fixed price. It depends on the design and the person involved and the ability to negotiate. That is fine and that is why she is thriving. Whatever design one wants determines the price. I can attest to this and that is how to survive in this part of the world especially for a growing business like hers.

Equipments

What I found in her shop when I visited was manual sewing machines. She has 5 in her shop. One for her and the rest are for her trainees.

She also makes use of measuring tape, scissors, electric iron and a manual one. I saw 2 Mannequins which she uses to display the finished cloths for onlookers to admire and possibly come for it.

If you look closely you will see how beautiful the dresses look and the sewing is always neat.
What I like most about her is the enthusiasm in which she uses to do her jobs. Every business person must show enthusiasm in order to succeed and she has that beautiful quality, no wonder her business has been very effective.

Suggestions for improvement

I advice that she gets industrial or electrical machines, that way she saves more time and also her stitches will be perfected.

Having been in the business since 2019, it's time she improves in her packaging materials.

I advice that she gets a branded bag with her name on it. There is a saying in my place that ,'its not good if a girl is pretty and she uses rice sack to sew cloth, hahaha'. This means that for something to be perfect, packaging should also look good. So @esthyfashion, I advice you improve in this.
