Where are you graduating to?

Answer to question is important as corporate employment is limited the world over. This consciousness leads to the introduction of Entrepreneurship Education at higher education level.

With this awareness, parents and guardians want their children and wards to think and act smart by graduating to own and run business of their own. Additionally, this route is justified as most graduates are not employable.

What then is required?

Simply, Vision as the starting point.

Education helps us to see things clearly. More so, it makes for better understanding of self, others, economy and the wider world. In the course of your study, you are solving problems with classwork, assignments and examinations that led to the approval of your mates and professors. Is it possible to use those experiences to identify problems locally, nationally and internationally. Vision, yes, economic vision, which is the ability to see yourself as the solution or rightly, the source of solutions to man's solvable problems.

In this era of STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, can you see yourself as the source of tools to make teaching and learning interesting and easier from childhood education and beyond. Can you come up with apps in these areas or improve the existing ones? The other day, I saw amphibious automobile (land and water bus). Its existence shows the power of vision or dreaming.

The previous time you consulted your doctor, how long did you wait? Is there what could be done to reduce waiting time?

Extend the search for solutions to food, agricultural, transportation and sanitation sectors.

In short, opportunities for entrepreneurship are unlimited and they are everywhere both offline and online.

Think wisely and act smartly.

Remember, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.
