The last diary game of the year||31-December-2024|| how I spend the last day of the the year 2024

We have finally gotten to the last destination of the year 2024 and we looking forward to what the year 2025 holds for us. I wrote this diary to share my last activity on the 31 December 2024.

It's always a season of profitability, a season of more sales for businesses and entrepreneurs, as it is our time to make a lot of sales. As such, we always open early, just like it's said: The early bird caught the worm. Punctuality is also a key factor in business, as you will build a good customer base who will always turn up to patronize you.

Last word to 2024

Morning activity

I wake up at about 5am to prepare so as to catch the early bird. At about 6am I was already on my way to the shop, As the last day of the year people were planning where they wanted to spend their evening with their loved ones. On my way, I bought some snacks, 2 fish rolls, and 1 buns worth N500.

The snack

When I get to the shop I arrange our goods as usual and ensure everything is well stood and organized. But guess, maybe I missed the worms as there were no customers as I expected, unlike last year. So we decided to carry a great plan called Operation Call the Customer.

The plan

The strategy is anybody that's:

• Looking at your goods
• Looking at you
• Waving at you
• Horning at you
• Packing nearby or close to our shop

Approaching a customer

We must reach out to them to ask what he or she wants to buy. This means I have to be up and alert as we have another competitor who's also using the same strategy.

As for my breakfast, my mummy brought jello rice and chicken. So while am watching the people passing and also eating. Na December caused this one.

GOING TO THE MARKET

Being the last day of the year many people would purchase a lot of foodstuffs to cook a delicious meal for their family. So my mummy sent me to the market to get some food items which is:

Also, we also bought 1 big catfish. This fish is being sold through scale. This scale is used to weigh the fish and the amount to be sold. So you just have to select any fish and place it on the scale.

I bought 1 and it's worth 6700. You can see from the scale 6720 but they gave me at 6700. The seller cut the fish into 5 segments removing the intestine and the gills of the fish. Joy is coming. Are you feeling me?

When I return to the shop I stay with my mummy while still watching to call customers attention, remember our Operation call customers.

Evening

Celebrations of the year 2025 have been the talk of the town as everyone would be going to different churches to do the crossover to the year 2025, thanking our Creator for keeping us alive to see the new year. We all close at about 7pm and I locked up.

On my way, I branched to my friend's shop to see how he was doing his business and I was surprised as the estate tarmac had already prepared for the celebration, setting a stage to perform. There's no sleep tonight in the estate as everyone will be awake till the next day.

Surprisingly I met a classmate back from school, It was a surprise to him as he has worked there for about 3 years and I have been passing there every day. He works in the refreshing center, selling smoked catfish, chicken, and turkey. We gist for a while and I left as I was already late to get home. I made several calls on my way reminding my friends and family how lucky and grateful we are to see the end of 2024.

We all have to face a lot, we endure and survive. We are now in 2025 a new journey and adventure. Am happy for everyone and wish you all long life and prosperity as we start this year with happiness and many more years to come.
