Last year I went to Kurigram to help some people. Because at that time Kurigram was completely submerged in water. So we went with some friends to help people. I will share that story with you today.

Last year there was a big flood in Kurigram. The flood was so big that the village areas of Kurigram city were submerged at once. People didn't even have a place to stay. Only water and water all around. After staying like this for two or three days, the people had run out of food. Then the people of other districts were delivering food to them.

I and some of my friends were also associated with those people. The situation was so dire that people had no roads to deliver food to them. So we all friends took a boat and delivered food to them. And were the people there waiting for food. It was a very painful incident.

When we reached them after two or three days with food. And a number of houses on higher ground could be inhabited as the water receded. We also originally appeared at that place. And tried to stand by the helpless poor people according to their own interests. Although our small efforts are nothing to them. Still trying to be by their side for the sake of humanity. And I cooperated with them according to my own interests.

But I like Kurigram very much. Had a great time. Because we don't get boats here. People of Kurigram always travel by boat. Their special methods of fishing are worth watching. Kurigram is a riverine district. Kurigram is surrounded by rivers. So the place looks very beautiful. Although my purpose in going there was to help people.
