Todays activity
in our daily activities , one of duty i did today was to go with my family and make some shopping for our selves.
Shopping in ramadan for eid :
The vibrant energy of spring is upon us once again & with it comes the anticipation & excitement of Eid shopping. For Muslims around the world, Eid is a time of celebration, reflection & togetherness & there is no better way to mark this special occasion than by embarking on a shopping adventure with loved ones.
As the day begins, families gather & make their way to the bustling markets & colorful bazaars, filled with a dizzying array of options for the discerning shopper. The air is thick with the aroma of delicious food & fragrant flowers &the sounds of laughter & chatter fill the air.
From traditional garments to modern fashion, from stunning jewelry to intricate henna designs, there is something for everyone. The sense of community & generosity is palpable as strangers exchange warm greetings & well wishes, united in the spirit of Eid.
Ramadan is a special month in the Islamic calendar, marked by fasting, prayer & spiritual reflection. It is also a time of heightened generosity & kindness, as Muslims around the world come together to share in the blessings of the season. As the month of Ramadan draws near, people start preparing for the holy month in many different ways, including shopping.
Shopping in the days leading up to Ramadan is a common practice for many Muslims, as they prepare to break their fasts with family & friends. The markets & malls are abuzz with activity, as shoppers search for the perfect ingredients for their favorite Ramadan dishes as well as gifts & clothing for loved ones.
buying of traditional stiching materials :
during shopping we also buyed some tradional stitching materials for making clothes more attractive & can also be used for resizing dresses at home .
some of traditional stitching materials are :
Thread: Thread is used to stitch the fabric together. Traditional stitching materials include cotton, silk, wool & linen threads. The color & thickness of the thread are also important factors to consider when choosing the right material.
Thimbles: Thimbles are used to protect the fingers from the needle while stitching. They can be made of metal, leather or plastic.
Scissors: Scissors are used to cut the fabric and thread. Traditional stitching materials include smal sharp scissors that are easy to handle.
Measuring tape: Measuring tape is used to measur e the length & width of the fabric. It is also used to measure the body dimensions to create a perfect fit.
Pins: Pins are used to hold the fabric in place while stitching. They can be made of metal or plastic & come in different sizes.
Embroidery floss: Embroidery floss is used to create intricate designs & patterns on the fabric. It comes in a wide range of colors & textures.
Fabric: Fabric is the base material for stitching. Traditional stitching materials include cotton, silk , wool, linen& leather.
