Attending my nephew's graduation ceremony at the Polytechnic Campus - Lhokseumawe
I and my family attended my nephew's graduation at the Bukit Rata Polytechnic Campus, Lhokseumawe. The event, which started at 9 am, was held with pride and happiness. Graduation is always a special moment, not only for the students who graduate, but also for their families, friends, and close friends who attend. I feel proud to see my nephew wearing a toga, a symbol of graduation and achievement after his long struggle (without a father - he has passed away) in studying at university.
The graduation ceremony was held solemnly, attended by lecturers, campus officials, and of course the graduates' extended families. Inspirational speeches from academic leaders also encouraged the graduates to continue to struggle in the real world with the provisions they obtained during their studies. There was a feeling of emotion when seeing the names of students being called one by one to receive their diplomas, marking the end of a long journey and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
The Meaning of Graduation for Students
Graduation for a student is a very important moment. This moment marks the end of the college period and also the beginning of new challenges in the world of work or higher education. Graduation is a symbol that they have gone through various learning processes, both academic and self-development. For many students, graduation is also a form of appreciation for their hard work over the years, which may involve various challenges, such as piling up assignments, difficult exams, and the process of adapting to the academic environment.
In addition, graduation is also a reminder that learning does not end here. Although the college period has ended, the learning process will continue throughout life. With graduation, students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge they have gained to make a positive contribution to society and continue to develop professionally and personally.
Benefits of Family Presence at Graduation
The presence of family at the graduation ceremony means a lot to the graduates. First, it shows our support for their achievements. Moral support from family and relatives gives them encouragement and a sense of pride, so that the graduation moment feels more meaningful. The presence of loved ones also increases self-confidence and happiness for those who have completed their long journey in the world of education. Second, for those of us who attend, this moment is an opportunity to celebrate the important achievements of our loved ones. Being a witness to their struggles and successes brings its own happiness.
Overall, attending my nephew's graduation at the Bukit Rata Lhokseumawe Polytechnic was a very memorable and meaningful experience. It is not only about celebrating graduation, but also about appreciating the long process that has been gone through to get to this point, and giving full support for their brighter future. Congratulations to my nephew, Mohammad Alief.
