My country's currency
Hello all steemian friends?. see you again with me @elcebe. Maybe this time, I will discuss about my country's currency namely the country of Indonesia with the of Indonesian rupiah.
Indonesian currency is denominated in coins and also paper money. Every country certainly has its own characteristics in its currency, whether from culture or national heroes who are the figure on the currency. Like my country's currency, the rupiah, which is symbolized by the Pancasila symbol, namely the Garuda bird standing proudly on a branch, and there are also pictures of Indonesian national heroes fighting for independence, likewise behind the image of the hero there is an image of culture as a reflection of Indonesia's cultural and historical richness.
The largest nominal value of Indonesian currency is 100,000 rupiah or the equivalent of 38,84 steem. But, do all my friends know?. It turns out that the nominal value of Indonesia's largest currency is not the 100,000 rupiah denomination that is currently in effect. In 1995, Bank Indonesia issued 850,000 rupiah (326,60 steem) denomination coins in order to commemorate Indonesia's 50th Independence Day.
while the smallest nominal is 500 rupiah or the equivalent 0,19 steem in coin form. No!, There is still the smallest nominal, namely 100 rupiah (0,039 steem) and 200 rupiah (0,078 steem) which is now no longer valid.
With 100,000 rupiah you can make transactions in the form of electricity bills or other billing needs. Moreover, in the area where I live, there are already many clothing stores that sell clothes for 35,000 rupiah (13,50 steem), with a nominal amount of 100,000 rupiah we have already received 3 new clothes. However, I often spend money 100,000 rupiah on buying 10 kg of noodles because that is a necessity in the business that I founded.
I really love Indonesian currency. Why?. As an Indonesian citizen, I am still proud of the official Indonesian currency. on which banknotes there are pictures of heroes and culture. if there are foreign tourists who are touring Indonesia, either for tourism or other purposes. Of course they use the type of transaction with the Indonesian currency exchange tool. So in this case, as if we communicate nonverbally by showing the richness of Indonesian culture and introduce the figure of an Indonesian hero.
