Economic - Diary Game - 05/07/24 | Shopping with Fiancé
Hi there,
I know how it sounds! Shopping with the girlfriend/ wife for many men... Well, you know what I was going to say, I wanna save my dinner!! Anyway there is a wedding upcoming, so I dedicated yesterday to take her shopping . I am on my vacation and it was a holiday for her as well. The day started with raining and I was a bit reluctant to go! But I got the call at around 07.30 and we were on the way!
She was eagerly looking for a party frock and we decided to go to Maharagama and Nugegoda. Both the cities are near to our places and on the same root. We had some specific shopping centers to go!
Firstwe went to couple of shops Richlook, Lady Jay, Fashion Bug and Nolimit! They are good brands in Sri Lanka and there are clothes from low price to high! We searched here and there for hours. But we couldn't find a satisfied, as I was going to say earlier it was exhausting to find a match for girls.
Anyway we had to find some. There are some branded shops in the are which are dedicated only for girls. So, we deicided then to give them a try!
Downtown Maharagama
It was a decent place in Maharagama town, with good parking space and supportive space. The place is well arranged. Manly there were every type of items for women, and a small section for men also. The price are also reasonable. As we were looking for party frocks, prices were ranging from 50 steem. Anyway, the sizes didn't match with here.
Yeah exhausting!! 😅😅 As it bwa lunch time we had a fried rice from a near buy restaurant. It was quite a good. The large portion for two people cost around 20 Steem.
Montrianna Nugegoda
Our next stop was Montrianna at Nugegoda. The place is really sunning and it was only for the party frocks. We saved it for the last, the prices are bit high as for the quality of the products. As expected and what we saw bon their Facebook page, there is a nice collection! I can easily recommend the place for the ladies.
Most of the items are starting from 100 Steem onwards. It's like a heaven for girls, I know. After trying several products from different price ranges she finally selected one, a red color frock which is 110 Steem (LKR 6500) in price.
Eventough the price is a bit higher than what we planned, we were quite satisfied and relieved with it. Then we went to our boardings at around 16.30 It was a good day after all!

From early days, I've never liked going for textile shopping with my husband since he hated to go from one shop to another; he wants to buy at the first location, and he never worries about price. But, as ladies, can we do that? Later I did it alone.

I liked your post very much. Shopping experiences are often different and the story you shared was very interesting. Shopping for a wedding is really a unique experience, especially when with your partner❤️. It is a good thing that you dedicated your day and kept it so patient.
The journey was very good, especially when you mentioned the various shops from where you went shopping. Brands are really famous for quality. But it is also true that it is always difficult for girls to find the perfect thing. You were absolutely right to say that "exhosting" is an experience, but in the end, you got that party frock from Montarianna that you both liked❤️.
