Nkwoala is the name of the market in my community and it is located at my village. it is a very big market that sells once in a week depending on the day it is supposed to sell according to the four market days in Igbo land.

When is supposed to be Nkwoala market day?
In Igbo land we have EKE, ORIE, AFOR and NKWO market days... And the market nkwoala comes every second Nkwo day of the week. It is big to the extent that neighboring states like Rivers state and Abia state do come for exchange of goods and services.

How big is the market, and what type of things do they sell?
Nkwoala market is so big that all the goods sold in this market is being arranged accordingly, the people that sells school uniforms, babies, shoes and sandals has their own market line, the stockfish sellers, meat sellers, Cola (oji igbo) has their own line. There is also a part of the market that was mapped out for garri, fufu, and raw fufu sellers, goat and fowl together with firewood has their own line as well. All this was made to locate what you want to buy easily.

In this market, many things are being sold and there's nothing you could found wanting, because the market is always filled with people. It is also a day that many retailers go to buy food to storage and things to sell in local market or ordinary days. Most people find it as a day to make enough profit for family expenses because things like plantain, firewood, fufu and others are being sold in bulk, and the money is being paid at once from buyers and it makes things easier for them to pay up debts.

Reasons why women come to market with their children
Many women come to this market with their children because the believed they can buy things cheaper for their children's school use and all the needed school items like books, uniforms, sandals etc at once. Most times, children come to hulk pure water and help their parents to sell out money for food items and payment of their school fees.

Conclusion
At the course of this market because it is a market that crossed main road, parents are advised to keep their under aged children at home for best reasons like kidnapping because it is an enter state market whereby if any child should lost you will not know how to locate such child. And coming down to things sold here, i will like people that lives around Imo state, Rivers state and Abia state in Nigeria to do well to visit this Nkwoala market one day and patronize us. Me and my mom sell school uniforms and materials used for blouse and men wears at cheaper price.
