Steem Entrepreneur : Summer Vacation Contest!
Hello readers how are all doing today, hope that all of you will be fine. @hamzayousafzai have organized a best contest about summer vacations. Summer vacations was having bond with us which suddenly ended in university and my life was changed and what I wanted was over, now I am grown up and the childhood happiness is over when I went to my village in vacations.

Vacations are time period in which the schools, colleges and some universities are having holidays. It can be your own vacations when you stop your work for a moment and go to beautiful and mountainous sites. Summer vacations in our country are given to students studying in hot cities and villages to avoid severe heat in these days, mostly summer vacations in Pakistan are more than 2 months, they are also given to people living in cold areas but are less in days.
Where did you go, and what inspire you to choose this destination?
I got my holidays just before Eid ul Azha, so I went to my home for relaxation; to meet my family and enjoy the Eid gathering. We did the sacrifice and enjoyed the meat of lamb and also distributed among needy people, for whom actually the Eid is done. Eid is a festival of Muslims in which we meet our family and friends, and help the poor people by providing them with meat and other financial help.
However, I wanted to visit my village Upper Dir but it was not successful, my last trip was to my city called "The city of flowers" Peshawar.
What was the highlight of your trip or staycation?
As I mentioned above that I visited my city Peshawar, I stayed there about 10 days, it were Eid holidays + short term summer vacation. Then my university reopened I came back to my university.
Did you learn anything new or have any memorable experiences you would like to share ?
- Yes, it was a memorable days for me, I remember everyday which I spent with my family. It were 3 days remaining to Eid ul Azha and I went to a bus stand in Lahore to book a ticket for myself from Lahore to Peshawar. At first there were no tickets left, I went to 5 different bus stands and still there was no hope for the travel. I found one bus which was going to Peshawar and it was starting it's trip at sunset so I thought that "if now huge passengers are waiting for travel so at that time the number will increase". At this time I decided quickly to skip this huge crowd in the bus stand which will be making problem for my travel to home today and the further days.
- I changed my plan like shifting gear from 2nd directly to 4th, went to the Islamabad ticketing counter and booked my reserved my seat quickly. All the Peshawar, passengers noticed me and they also changed there mind and followed my plan, they thought that I was clever one.
After 4 and half hour we entered into the route of Islamabad and suddenly I released that it was a bad decision because there was a huge crowd waiting for buses, cars and other transportation vehicle. There were so many people, there a man came and told me that let's travel jointly and to book a direct cab to Peshawar, realizing the situation I agreed.
- On getting out from the bus, picking my luggage, I was mixed with other people and lost the crew with whom I discussed to travel directly to Peshawar from Islamabad. I was roaming there for about 2 hours to find Peshawar transport vehicle and could not find one due to a huge rush. Then, miracle happened and found a person who was travelling to Peshawar, he told me to follow him, it was a 15 min walk to the motorway starting where I found Peshawar transportation vehicle, they were charging 50% extra money and I could not resist because the time consumed was near to 8 hours and I was also very tired and craving to reach my destination.
The whole travel was of about 13 hours, the 7 hours 30 mins travel was completed in 13 hours.
