The Diary Game || 04-12-24 || Attending a Malarial Practical
Hello diary, it's amazing to be back once again with my day's proceeding.
Feeling vitalized after a good night's sleep is necessary for the normal functioning of the body. I had to thank my creator first for the gift of life. After that, I did my home chores and delayed a bit since the class is scheduled for 9am. I got ready when the scheduled time was almost near and I left the house. On the way, I called my course mate who told me that the lecturer has arrived and started reading the list for people who would attend the practical. With that, I told the driver to be a bit fast as I am caught behind time.

In no time, I reached school and I made it to Biology Laboratory. The lecturer in charge, Dr Yaro earlier mentioned that we'll be working on the Malaria test and Bile sample test. Prior to that, we were asked to contribute per group for the success of the practical and I did. We started with the Malaria test and the blood sample of a student had to use for the practical. The girl in my group claimed that they treated Malaria this month and I had to volunteer since I treated mine last month.
The practical instruments were brought in and we proceeded. First, my thumb was sterilized with an ethyl alcohol foam. Next, a surgical pin was used to pierce my thumb which stimulated blood. My blood was collected into the square part of Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT). The reagent was put into the round part of Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT).

With that, the process began and it showed that I am Malaria negative. After that, we had to do the bile test. The test has to be done with a centrifuge and a microscope. So, group 1 had to start but we were advised not to crowd there. I stayed at my position. When the process was nearly done, I went and took a picture. Then I progressed to photography time as my course mates asked for a photograph of them with a laboratory coat.

I did the session swiftly and headed to the next class. The fact is that Botany class was unlikely to hold. So, I had to go to my comrade's house to pick my manual. With that, the three boys left school and went home. In his house, he entertained us and we vibes to the music playing on the music box.
After some time, I left with my friends and I moved home to rest after a stressful day. What I regret not doing is to bill my group members money to replenish my dropped blood but it's all well.
That's how I spend my day.
