I am intensely passionate about my country. Today, I am proud to celebrate the completion of the 77th Independence Day and look forward to the 78th Independence Day.
In a previous post, I mentioned that if I were ever allowed to settle in any country,
I would decline! There are numerous reasons behind this decision.
Firstly,
I feel deeply connected to the land of my nation, which upholds secularism, peace, and equality.
Secondly,
my country stands proudly as the fifth fastest-growing economy globally, excelling in science, technology, and innovation.
Thirdly,
we are a nation that cherishes;
Nature and animals besides humans and acknowledge the presence of 33 crore gods!
My country spans an area of 32,87,263 square kilometers, from the snow-covered Himalayan heights to the equatorial rainforests of the south.

Additionally, India has produced twelve Nobel Prize winners. Among them, 5 were Indian citizens, and the rest were of Indian origin or residence, with Rabindranath Tagore being the foremost Indian to receive the Nobel Prize in 1931.
My country ranks as the fifth biggest economy in the world based on the 2024 GDP ranking. It boasts a rich history and is home to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
The list of inventions originating from my country is extensive and can be easily verified through a simple Google search. In my previous communication, I highlighted several contributions such as chess, the concept of zero, the decimal system, and the ancient healing system of Ayurveda.
Some may question the plausibility of one country excelling in various fields without any flaws. I view my country as my family and choose to focus on aspects that bring pride, adhering to a philosophy of positive enlightenment. Should family members highlight their own shortcomings? That’s not the culture I was raised in.
I firmly believe in standing up for what is right, and as a social worker, I recently joined a petition to address certain issues. However, I strongly oppose violence, as non-violence is a principle instilled in me by my country and my parents.
My philosophy is simple: If you cannot create, you have no right to destroy.
India is a country that prioritizes peace, yet it proudly boasts the world's largest volunteer army and the world's second-largest military force.
I find solace in knowing that numerous mothers have made sacrifices, by sending their children to the border to protect people, and Mother India.
In conclusion, I affirm that if there is a next life, I would unequivocally choose to be born in this remarkable nation. My heartfelt salute to all the soldiers has made the ultimate sacrifice of their lives! To safeguard our country on this momentous day of Independence! JAI HIND! JAI HIND! JAI HIND! MERA BHARAT MAHAN! This belief resonates deeply within me. |
Today I captured a few pictures from the television and a short video while celebrating the 78th Independence Day. You all can see how India believes in women's empowerment!
