Incredible India monthly contest of February #1|Things we should maintain to boost moral values!
"Morality is often seen as a personal and expensive luxury." Did you know that?
Let's begin by defining moral values. To understand this topic, you need some basic knowledge.
Moral values can be broken down. Moral refers to the ability to tell right from wrong in our actions and thoughts, and to judge what is good or bad. Value means the importance or worth we assign to something or someone.
So, what are moral values? They are the principles that a person considers important or useful, guiding them in distinguishing between right and wrong and identifying good and bad.
Principals that we should maintain to enhance ourselves. |

Self-improvement comes from your own willingness and choices. You can't grow if you're not ready to grow, and you won't achieve your goals without the desire to pursue them. This year, I have worked on my own growth and would like to share some principles that helped me stay focused.
Here are some of the principles:
• Make the choice to improve: This may seem simple, but deciding to improve is the first step toward success. Like learning, self-improvement works best when it is intentional and focused. By consciously deciding to improve, writing it down, and reminding yourself, you create new pathways in your brain. Successful leaders are often decisive, and while making decisions can be tough, it is always the starting point.
• Understand your reasons for improvement: If deciding to change is like starting a car, your reasons are the fuel. Change is based on the belief that you have potential and that it is worth investing in. Figuring out why you want to improve can be challenging. Maybe you want to have a bigger impact on your students or enjoy life and relationships more. Knowing your reasons will help you stay focused and avoid distractions.
• Create a plan: Having a plan is crucial for the improvement journey. Similar to a learning plan, it outlines the steps and resources needed to reach your goal. Writing down your plan can help you move forward more quickly.
Which things help us to boost our moral values? |

There are many things that can help us improve our moral values, but I will highlight just a few:
- Compassion
- Honesty
- Cooperation
- Personal experience
- Gratitude
- Respect
- Integrity
- Empathy
- Responsibility
- Admitting mistakes, etc.
I will focus on three of these.
Honesty: Honesty is an important part of moral character. It represents positive qualities and builds trust and respect. No matter the mistake, being truthful helps strengthen moral values.
Empathy: Empathy is key to moral behavior. It allows you to understand and connect with others deeply. While it's important to think about how our actions affect us, we must also consider their impact on others. It encourages us to pay attention to the needs of those around us.
Gratitude: Gratitude means being thankful for the good things in life. Always show appreciation for what you have, no matter how small. If you embody gratitude, you open the door to receiving more.
If you got an opportunity to change anything for society, what would you want to change? |

I want to change laziness. Laziness has deeply affected many people, making them unwilling to work while still wanting a luxurious life.
I often wonder how this is possible. How can someone be lazy and still expect to enjoy the best things in life? In today's society, we hear many stories linked to laziness. Some claim there is nothing to do, but if that's true, can't they create something? Why can't people contribute positively to life?
You see an 18-year-old boy lying at home in the morning when he should be out earning a living. By the end of the day, he looks for ways to steal to survive.
Laziness has taken away opportunities from young people today, and it makes me uncomfortable. Sometimes, when you try to guide them toward earning a living, they prefer quick fixes like rituals, theft, or prostitution. There is no easy way to make a living; there is only a fast track to ruin. Laziness has led some to an early death, and I wish the youth would stand up and reject laziness.
In summary, moral values help us understand what is right and wrong, and what is good and bad. They influence our actions and decisions. This is a broad topic, but it is fascinating. If everyone embraced and practiced these values, the world would improve, and I wouldn't need to change anything in society.
Hi, @nancy0 @okere-blessing @pandora2010 would you throw more light on this topic because I know you've got something to share.
