This is not what I believe. Yes, there is death but I do not believe that anything at all in our body survives death. At creation, we were made up of only the dust and the breath of life and that was when we became a living soul or being. Then at death, we go back to the state we were before our birth and that is back to dust while the breath of life returns to the giver of life (Genesis 2:7 and Genesis 3:19).

By the breath of life returning to the giver means that he alone has the ability to give it back to the owner at resurrection. This makes sense because even Job 14:14,15, there that faithful man Job believes that he can come back to life at resurrection.

As for facing the judgement from God, we can talk about it next time.
