Wow, it doesn't feel like it, it won't be long before we meet the holy month of Ramadan. And on this occasion, I will discuss how to best combine good and healthy foods for the menu to break the fast that we are doing.

Well, as we all know, fasting, besides being our obligation as Muslims in the world, is also a worship full of wisdom. One of the wisdoms of fasting is being healthy.

Why?
Because when fasting the body, especially the digestive organs rest for 12 hours or more.

That is why fasting can be used as a detoxification therapy, or eliminating toxins in the body. But of course this detox effect will occur if we fast properly in terms of health. One method that is now widely practiced is fasting combining, or combining foods that are in accordance with the human body cycle.

In food combining, of course we have to regulate our eating patterns according to the body cycle, including when fasting. This is what I did, I once experienced a fairly severe illness, to the point where I realized that there was something wrong with my diet.

The reason I chose this diet was because of health. So since I was sick, I had no choice, I wanted to get better, to continue living with that illness. Because if I wasn't given a cure, I'd rather be like this.

Because one day at that time I ate 5 aspirin, five headache medicines, and I wanted to get better. That's when I realized I had to change my diet, including when fasting. Miraculously, after food combining, I felt my body was more fit and healthy. Fasting was also carried out easily and lightly.

Food combiners usually eat sahur with fresh fruit, either juiced or enjoyed directly. Why, because fruits like this contain glucose sugar which is very good for the body.

This glucose will be quickly absorbed by the body and become energy without burdening our digestive system. Sahur with fruit is also highly recommended during fasting. It seems a bit impossible, just eating fruit, then having to endure hunger and thirst all day long. However, eating fruit for sahur actually makes the body fitter, even though you have to fast all day long. Because fruit is an easily digested food, and is absorbed by our bodies.

During sahur in the morning, the body does experience a waste disposal cycle, where the body must dispose of metabolism in the natural world, such as defecating, urinating, and sweating. All of that is done simultaneously by our bodies. So what happens is that the body releases more energy.

If sahur is correct, of course breaking the fast must also be correct. After the Maghrib call to prayer, it is a good idea to consume fruit and water first. Then perform the Maghrib prayer. After praying, then consume other foods.

Amazingly, this pattern of breaking the fast was also applied by our prophet Muhammad SAW. Just three dates and water are enough to break the fast. After the Maghrib prayer, then you are allowed to eat other things.

The point is, do not overdo it in consuming a food, because the impact is not good for the body. As the Arabic proverb says

Health is an invisible crown, and no one can see it, except those who are sick.

So, it's good to take care of your health from an early age, before you regret it later. Hopefully useful, see you again.

Greetings always compact.
