"I love the boy because he work hard and I trust him, I can count on him, I can defend him anywhere,"....my boss discussing with her friend who is also a business owner, but in return her friend shared a very bad experience about her employee, the employee work hard no doubt but there's something he didn't in a closed door which was later exposed to the public. What happened? follow up to find out. Since then my boss friend find it difficult to trust any employees. This shows that sometime the quality we display might not only affect us but the society as a whole. Let's look into some high standards quality we should adopt as humans.

We like to make friends with someone we trust, someone who is honest, someone who is trustworthy and someone who is generous. I know that people are no longer care about possessing good quality because most times, what they face makes them to change that mentality.

For example, when I first move to Lagos, I met one man who was looking for job, I referred him to my neighbor who was looking for employees. Even though the man did not have someone to guarantee him(guarantor) which is necessary, the woman out of good heart employed him but guess what? Within 2 weeks, he stole the woman phone and some wigs and ran away. Since there was no guarantor, we didn't be able trace him. Do you think the woman will make that mistake again when someone even with good intentions wants to work without a guarantor?This is how people make someone with good quality change to bad.

In my own viewpoint I very sure that;
♦️Honesty
♦️Trustworthy
♦️Generosity
are the qualities human should carry within.

Now let's look at the qualities I mentioned above which is Honesty, trustworthy and generosity.

How Honest enhance us and others

Honesty is when someone is transparent, nothing to hide and someone who is truthful. Do you have a friend who lie too much? How do you view the person, do you trust him. I will be hard to believe anything he said because even when he's saying the truth you may still need to find out. This is how bad it is when someone is not honest. If am honest, people will rely on me, my family and the society, they can also defend me because they have confidence in me that I will never lie. You might get a promotion in office because if being honest and other exciting benefits.

How trustworthy enhance us and the society

From the word trust, we already know what the quality is. when someone is honest like I said, people rely on the person, they will trust him, they will count on him, that process is trustworthy. If am trustworthy, my family will believe in me, they confide in me, no matter what you said, if i tell them I didn't do it, they will trust me. Trustworthy is also necessary in the society in the sense that people are likely to employed someone they trust, they might ask you"are you trustworthy? can we trust you"? because they do not want someone who will let them down.

When someone is trustworthy, people will know what you can do and what you cannot do. May be you heard about some cases whereby someone says: "I know what...(the person name) can do but you see what happen earlier, its not him, he can't do that, I trust him." This are some of the statement you'll likely to hear about someone who is trustworthy.

How being generously enhance us and the society?

Being generously can also be called cheerful giver, someone who ready to assist, to give without returns. Being generous can be in different ways, assisting people financially, buying food to someone who can't afford it, being easy to approach. It's can also be by given people your ideas or advice. Our Holy book says that God bless the hands that giveth. This shows that if we help people without expecting a reward from the person, our creator is willing to rewards us. If am generous, we don't know what tomorrow, I might get a surprise in different ways.

So this 3 quality works with each other, if you're honest and generous, people will see you as a trustworthy person.

Of course I do, I believe that identifying self mistakes and quality some how can makes me different from others because we not perfect, we do makes mistakes at any time but if i recognize a my mistakes there's some benefit I will enjoyed like being able to learn as well as to grow.

Admitting to my mistake shows that am willing to learn and grow rather than being defensive. Admitting and identifying my mistakes shows that am accountable which makes people to build their trust in me, responsibility as well as respect.

I will need self awareness in the process of recognizing my mistake which is considered as a valuable skill that can help me understand my strengths and my weakness.

In conclusion, I think possession this 3 qualities; honesty, trustworthy and generosity can help us to live a better life to ourselves, our family and in a society. Recognizing our mistakes help us to learn, to grow, to be accountable which makes people to build respect and trust in us.
