SEC17/W3|Experiences Come With Age Or Circumstances
Hi friends! I hope you had a great weekend! Welcome to my blog and I wish you a wonderful week ahead! I'm here to share my thoughts about maturity, experiences, and learning from the younger generation.
Maturity is a wonderful thing, or don't you think so? I believe it's about being responsible for our actions, thoughts, and feelings, not shifting blame when we are wrong but taking full responsibility for them. It doesn't stop here, but it goes further to being able to handle difficulties with composure and grace, communicating effectively making sound decisions that are based on rational thinking, and considering the effect of our actions. We become mature as we grow and circumstances help in speeding up maturity because with these two we will be more aware of ourselves, and become more empathetic towards others and ourselves.
I believe that when it comes to experiences we accumulate them over time as we grow and age, it is a natural and gradual process that allows us to gain insights and perspectives over time that can inform our future actions. But you see circumstances play a significant role in shaping who we are and our experiences.
Sometimes unforeseen occurrences and situations can force us to learn and grow in a way we couldn't believe or may not have otherwise. Certain events and circumstances teach us to be strong and independent, there's a saying that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, so we learn from our struggles and when we overcome them we become more experienced than before and get to know how to handle similar situations these pivotal moments of growth usually bring invaluable experiences regardless of one's age.
Therefore, both age and circumstances contribute to our experiences. The difference is that age makes it possible for us to learn while growing, but unexpected events and situations allow us to gain more insight and valuable experiences.
Learning is a continuous process, so I certainly do believe that older people can learn from younger ones! The thing is that the younger generation grows up surrounded by technology and innovations, which puts them on edge in these areas over the older generations. Younger ones possess skills and knowledge that the older generation may have missed out on, so they can learn from them.
For example I was the one who taught my father how to operate his Android phone, browse the internet, and use certain apps like the banking app, etc, this was because there were no technologies like this during his time, so he had to learn that from me, the newer generation. The thing is that technology has penetrated all works of life and we young people are likely to be adept at utilizing them, Unlike older people may find it difficult to adapt.
Furthermore, Young people have enough fresh ideas and perspectives to bring to the table, we are loaded with wealth experiences from various circumstances, backgrounds, and cultures, which gives us a new outlook on different situations. Moreover, we have access to more opportunities to learn, explore and advance in new fields which many older people were short of so older people may reconsider their long-held beliefs and ideas which may have formed due to their limited experiences and learn from the younger generations.
In conclusion Experiences come from both age and circumstances and older people can definitely learn so many things from younger ones. Youths have so many good things to bring to the table, we can offer fresh insights, we are good at technological know-how, and youths have access to new opportunities that benefit people of all ages and foster a culture of lifelong learning. Thank you!
Hi @blessedbee @ninapenda and @vickyson what's your thoughts on this?
Life itself is a learning field. We never stop learning, although most times we learn in a hard way but at the end we are glad we did. Maturity is absolutely a good thing, only then can we take responsibility of some certain things around us. I enjoy your post ma. Success to you!
Thanks for responding dear, I appreciate your contribution and looking forward to your entry!
Hello friend, that's right, maturity refers to us being people capable of assuming the different situations that arise in life, always looking for alternatives so that everything is resolved in the right way better way.
Certainly young people always have something new to contribute, people with more experience help guide them along the right path, but youth are always willing to contribute new ideas.
Success and blessings in the contest!
Hi @miyexi thank you so much for visiting me today and engaging meaningfully, I appreciate your good wishes it means a lot to me.
in my own opinion i think experience comes with age and maturity because its depend of the situation. And we all know that if we have a bad experience before, if that exact thing happened again we'll not made a mistake again. that's ro say learning from experience. good luck to you @goodbest.
Secondly please i want to ask for a favor, i have posted my verification post and it been 12 days now, it's has not been verified.

thank you ma'am 🙏
I strongly agree with your opinion,it is not until someone Is old before he or she will have more experience than a younger person, circumstances can make us to be more experience than our elders, you have a nice point, I wish you all the best in the contest.
Thank you so much for your nice commendations and contributions. I appreciate and I look forward to your entry.
You've got a detailed post here. We learn everyday despite our age, but there's one thing i notice about elderly people. They find it dificult sometimes to ask us for help, even when you see that they need that help and you approach to help, they'll be as if you're mocking them or a kind of insult.
Your father is matured because he possesses that humility in him and open to learning. I also helped an elderly man in my congregation to set up his jw account, so truly elderly people can learn from the youth.
That's so kind of you! Just keep it up and thanks for the compliment, I appreciate your contribution too, and thanks for visiting me.
Yes, helping with the little way i can makes me happy. You're welcome dear mummy 😊
You are perfectly right. We actually accumulate experience as we grew and as day goes by. One of the things I have come to discover is the fact that it comes experience and not alone with age
Yes, we naturally gain experience with time as we grow, but circumstances make us more experienced! Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate!
