SEC17/W3|Experiences come with age or circumstances!
I am here to partake in SEC17/W3|Experiences come with age or circumstances! with quote-
It's fun and super exciting to see how other people work, how other people write music, and how other people put things together. To me, it's an endless learning process, and I love doing it because everybody works so completely differently. Alison Mosshart
How do you define maturity?
This question is not so easy to answer as it requires a lot of maturity, shedding your ego off, and a lot of self-evaluation. It's quite easy to say that I learned this with experience or learned it in college, but that would be premature because it takes a combination of both to give a just but significant definition of what maturity is.
Maturity is all about how we think about what is right and wrong. Many people carry the false pride of being mature just because they have big college degrees, but in my view, maturity is the result of a combination of what you learned in an academy and what you learned from your life.
Since we tend to gain maturity by making it full of ideas during student life we believe that maturity is all about the theory and technology we learned in college but trust me maturity is not what you learned in college although it is part of maturity. I believe maturity comes when you implement that knowledge in your life.
I was an engineering graduate, and once I got that degree, I thought I was ready to face the world. Later, when I completed business school, I was again confident that I was ready to conquer the corporate world, but I was wrong.
My maturity came when I attended my first big official seminar and was asked to deliver my first speech as an area sales engineer. Trust me, my legs were shaking more than how I felt going to my first school as a kid.
I have won academic awards in management, but they were not enough in practical life so we mature as we face the world, see those moments of struggle, and learn the art of defining our qualities. But I am pretty sure, you don't bring them with you at your birth but you learn them all with your experience.
What do you believe experiences come with age or circumstances? Define
So it's our minds that need to be renewed by learning the finer points of what we already know or what we've yet to learn, and it comes with experience and age. It may sound a little complicated, but your minds need to be redefined with the help of experience. Our mind can contribute to the solution, but it needs experience to redefine maturity.
I have reasons to think that there is a big difference between knowledge and maturity, or what we call wisdom. Your knowledge brings understanding, but wisdom comes from living through the experiences of your life on a day-to-day basis. Knowledge is in your brain, but it needs polishing through experience.
Do you believe older people can also learn so many things from youth? Justify
We have all read that a man learns by the time he breathes his last, so yes, I believe I learn from everyone because there is so much to learn in this world that we haven't even heard about.
Many older people ask, “What can I learn from younger people?” The truth is that you can learn not only from the younger generation but even from the kids. They know some of the most appropriate and finer points that you never came across growing up. As I mentioned above, the learning process never ends, so when I first learned about how to use a computer, it was not something that I learned in college, but it was my daughter who taught me how to do it.
I remember our first computer, which came with a 4.6 GB ROM and I paid for it through my nose. I was sitting with my daughter, who was in 6th grade then. When she asked me to shut it down, I switched it off like we used to switch off our TV. She smiled and told me how to shut down Windows properly, so yes, there is a lot that we can learn from youth, and from everyone, you get knowledge provided you're willing to get it.
To learn more about how more knowledge will fit within your mind and personality, coming from your coworkers, neighbors, and whoever you feel can give it to you creates the perfect blend of enhanced knowledge to provide you with an optimal sense of wisdom. In the end, I will stop saying, "We learn until we breathe our last."
I am thankful to my friends who mentioned me to participate in this contest and in turn, I invite my friends @josepha @deepak94 and @waqarahmadshah
When you defined maturity as a combination of academic knowledge and life experiences, I nodded along in total agreement. I've known people with impressive degrees who lacked real-world wisdom, and vice versa. It's one thing to learn theories and concepts in a classroom setting, but true wisdom and maturity come from applying that knowledge in real-world situations and learning from the challenges and successes along the way.
Thanks, I've just returned after having a little outing with one of my friends, I agree with your way of thinking so I have nothing much to say as you know me and my viewpoints.
🙂
In life, I believe the more we get older the more we get an experience, whereas maturity is what defines how well we have grown old. However, maturity to me, is not by age, but by how far we can be able to solve problems, quench burning problems, and contribute positively to other life through our characters, words, and lifestyles that others will copy from. Thanks for inviting me, for I have also participated in the contest. Good luck to you.
Thanks for the support bro, I will go and see how you feel about this thoughtful topic.

dear brother,
As long as there is pride in man, he will never be counted among the rightly guided, and he will never have maturity. Self-Evaluation is an excellent sentence. In fact, in order to value yourself, you have to act that way, not through pride, but through fairness.
It is also true that maturity takes place only in combination of various factors. Achieving this maturity does not require a lot of hard work but thinking with the head brain and acting accordingly.
I am really glad that you have got so many degrees as you mentioned about your academic education. But it is a fact that it is very difficult to keep up with the reality. It can never be understood without being in reality, like when you went to a lecture and were overcome with fear. In fact, almost all of us still think that we are mature.
Thank you for answering each and every question between us with your reality. I wish you success in this competition.
Thank you so much for your kind support and wise suggestions!
Most welcome 💕
