Here I'm going to be discussing about the topic While making decisions, what do you prefer to follow: heart or mind?.

I talk about which of my part I use to make decisions, whether it is my mind or my heart.

What is your preference while making decisions, heart or mind?

My preference while making decisions is my mind. But as an emotional human, my heart always sets in 😢

The mind is more practical, pragmatic, and intellectual. It tried to follow the rules of engagement and how things should be.

It follows policies and how things should be not based on feelings. The mind is the true nature when it comes to taking action not the heart.

The heart is mostly feelings rather than what is and what should be. And using the heart to make decisions can be detrimental at some point.

People would look at your decisions and try to ride you based on it. It makes your decisions and actions feel weak.

Using your heart to make decisions goes against the ethics of taking the desired decisions and actions where necessary.

Do you think we need both in terms of making decisions? Describe reasons.

To an extent, I think we need both our mind and our hearts to make decision that are valuable and timely.

Sometimes the decisions we take with our minds can be very harsh and seemingly wicked. We have to use our hearts to help us make better decisions that will be beneficial.

When trying to make decisions, we should always try to use our minds to make the decisions and then vet our decisions with our hearts so as to give it a human touch or make it an empathetic one.

Taking decision by using the mind and heart most times gives the best results.

It helps you to see things in a perspective that is so unique. The end result is almost always the best.

Though not an easy task, but it is best to always try to use your heart to compare the decisions made by the mind.

Are you an emotional or a practical person in real life?

To be very honest I think I'm both. I'm emotional and also very practical.

But I tend to be emotional than I tend to be practical. I'm an emotional being.

Although I want to change this mindset because at crucial times it will affect me greatly.

It is best to be pragmatic and practical than to be emotional when making life's decisions.

Being emotional can be detrimental to what you want to achieve by virtue of using your heart to make decisions.

You need to be sort of tough and use your mind to make certain decisions that are very important and life changing.

If you go with your heart it might eat you alive.

Do you have any suggestions for youth which one they should follow in their day-to-day lives?

The best advice I will give to the youths is to always go with their minds when taking crucial decisions, especially one that can have a desirable effect on their lives.

They should always go with taking pragmatic decisions which would steer their lives in a better trajectory.

However, when need be, they can also take decisions with their heart.

Of course we are humans and we can most likely be emotional when making decisions.

But taking decisions with the mind is always the best.
