Are you coming along, I said to be sure, but she shook her head.

No, I won't.

I was pissed because she had promised that we would celebrate carnival together. I had a costume in mind and wanted to look great for one day, a masked ball was all I wanted.

I can't, she said, look!

She pointed with her finger at a tiny little spot that no one in the world could see clearly, let alone those who would be present at the ball. I thought about the costume I had ordered. It had cost a pretty penny and when could I wear it if it wasn't tonight? I swallowed my disappointment even though I would have liked to attack her and pull her hair out.

I hate you, I thought as I stepped into the bathroom closing the door behind me and locking it.

First, a warm tub to calm down. The bubble bath lifted my mood and I decided to go to the party, I would ask Harry to accompany me. I called him from the bath and he agreed. He would pick me up in an hour, I had plenty of time.
When I came out of the bathroom she was gone and that wasn't the only thing, my costume was gone too. What was left was an empty clothes bag with a clothes hanger. I opened the door, furiously.

Oops...

Oh, Harry said, I didn't know we were going to wear a breathing suit, I'll just adapt.

With a straight face, he took off his costume and there we were, like yin and yang.

You know what he said, you look great, with a bow around your ass you are the perfect gift, I bet you'll get through the check without any problems.
