My Biggest Artistic Experiments in the 2024.

2024 was a big year for me. I lived the year to see a lot of breakthroughs and watched myself evolved and metamorphosed so many times. I could equally say that the year was stressful and bitter sweet.

It was my final year in the University of Lagos as a Visual Art Degree student and it was really hectic but I'm grateful to God, Family, Friends and Well Wished because I eventually graduated with a broad smile! 😊

As a Visual Artist, my major interest has always been painting cause I love to draw and I love colours a lot. This means that I am always fine with just my Canvas, Paint and Brushes.

I had it really tough whenever I am expected to create pieces that are beyond the use of just Canvas, Paints and Brushes but due to the fact that I was a student then, I had no option but to do what was required of me in order to secure good grades. Of all my experimental artworks, these three pieces which I created with the use of zips remain my favorites.

I had to buy zips in large quantities from big stores that sells materials used by tailors and fashion designers. I bought these zigs in many colours, with the idea that the zips would serve as my paints instead of me using pigments on Canvas and trust me, the results even wowed me myself.

These works are all in big sizes, 3 by 4 feet in size and they are all available for sale at the moment. I'm sure they'll find their homes in due time.
