Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Moment of reflection
Mirrors are like shadows, they follow you each time you stare,
Mirrors represent life, they show you your reality,
Mirrors always tell the truth, they tell no lies of who we are,
Some call it arrogance, mirror shows you confidence.
Mirror says you’re looking amazing today!

CREATIVE PROCESS:

The piece was created with watercolor paint on watercolor paper, the first step was a acrylic wash using different colors.

Then i proceed to the sketch with coloured marker bringing out the forms and shapes.

Still sketching out the forms and shapes with lines and being mindful of my proportions.

The final outcome of my sketch using lines, forms and shapes.

Then I proceed to the painting, starting with watercolor wash on it face and the hand being mindful of my tonal values.

Tonal values such as the light and dark and the middle tones to make the piece more realistic and interesting. Then I added another color to hair (purple and blue) which was the first layer.

Still in the same process, I started outlining the cloth with another colour (blue) to give the piece more depth such as thick lines where required.

After outlining, I started adding the color (blue) and being mindful of where my lighter color would be without needing to use white but being natural.
