A Story of a woman that touchies the heart
It took them some seconds to exchange pleasantries, yet this lady couldn't smell anything.
She kept asking, what... What? Then a call came in. She couldn't hear the caller clearly because the network was bad.
This lady is so blank.
No single drop of emotional intelligence.
Guess what?
As innocent and free minded person that she was, she asked this wedding planner to dance with her fiancee while she goes to a place where she could get better reception. She and her fiancee actually came to take dancing class for their wedding. She invited the wedding planner, so she could Introduce her to the fiancee.
The wedding planner was shocked that she would ask both of them to dance.
Here was what happened between the lady's fiancee and the wedding planner before the meeting.
They have met. The fiancee saved the wedding planner from an accident like some days before that meeting. He is a doctor. He actually took her to his hospital when she passed out.
In the hospital there a friend invited the both of them to a film show. In that film outing they danced and some love chemistry sparked between them. But there wasn't any formal expression but they both knew something special was building.
The wedding planner been cut out of this love things was so happy to finally meet someone who loves her too. She came to work the next so happy and all smiley. It was so noticeable that her colleague kept asking why she was so excited.
So, you can imagine the shock when she discovered that the guy she was already falling for was someone's fiancee.
Anyways, the both of them aren't what I'm talking about here. My concern is that lady who couldn't sense anything from that expression from both parties.
She lacks emotional Intelligence.
In case you don't know what emotional intelligence is, I'll define it in layman words. It's the ability to read people's mind from their facial expressions, mood and body language.
I have it to the brim. If I were to be in her shoes, I would have sensed something immediately.
At some point, I had to stay away from relationships because of that. I was too sensitive for my own liking. I hated it, but I couldn't help myself.
It's a great trait to have, though. It can help you relate well with people at work, social gathering and home. In fact, some companies train their staff for it.
Although mine was hurting my relationship, back then. The reason was because it was too much.
Let me ask you, do you think you have emotional intelligence?
If your answer is yes, why do you think so?
