How to regulate your emotions? There are four key skills.

One, learn to self-focus, focus on what you are doing in the moment, and not get caught up in past thoughts.

Two, be less critical and more accepting, talk about things and learn to use coping thoughts.

Three,focus on one's long-term goals and make decisions using a balanced thinking mindset.

Fourth, in the event of an emotional crisis, develop a coping plan for yourself in advance and prepare for a rainy day.
