Bee on the flower

in LifeStyle3 years ago

A bird perches on a vine, pondering where to peck grains and where to find worms for its chicks. Or maybe she's pondering how to fly far, high, all the way to the sun?

A bee on a flower, on the other hand, is thinking about how to drink enough nectar from a flower, fly to its hive, and rest there, because tomorrow it will have to fly from flower to flower collecting nectar, so that it can later produce delicious honey that people so desperately need.

I'm a quiet, unassuming bird who sits on a branch, sings my ringing song, and basks in the spring sunshine. I'm currently constructing a nest for my upcoming chicks, which will hatch from eggs. Then I'll go out and capture midges, mosquitoes, and look for worms for my children. I'll teach them to fly when they're old enough.

I am a hardworking bee who collects nectar while sitting on a flower. So I fly from one flower to the next before returning to my hive. I and other bees live there and collect nectar, which they use to make honey. Honey is beneficial to people, and it makes me happy.
