No Access to the Gunsite review: bushwhacking with care! How to escape from the chase when mystery abounds

The 'hunt' is a familiar one for gay men. In the old days, it was easier for heterosexuals to meet people in everyday situations than homosexuals, so before the advent of dating software such as Grindr and Scruff, the most effective way to meet someone was to wander around a specific location, and as soon as you met someone, you could quickly hook up in the dark. Gradually, gay men developed their own language codes to confirm their sexual orientation and avoid the embarrassment of being disturbed by heterosexuals.
Gay men set up hot zones, but the dangers are still there, because there is no way to be sure what will happen on this hunt.
Set in the early 1990s, long before dating software, Noah goes looking for his missing brother in an isolated gay dating mecca park and meets Patrick, a stranger. When Noah is attacked by the villain, he and Patrick flee together from the villain in hot pursuit, lost and scared, they have to rely on each other and solve the mysteries around them.
The film is a story co-written by Matthew Montgomery and Stephen Twardokus and is Mattew's first feature film directorial. This atmospheric psychological thriller is full of unexpected twists, surprises and mysteries to be unravelled layer by layer. Each of the characters has their own secrets that are revealed as the story progresses.
One part of Forbidden to Enter the Gun Range focuses on the mystery of his brother's disappearance, and the other, on Noah and Patrick mending their trust in each other, as they drag their tired bodies on the run while trying to avoid being suspicious of each other, but in the middle of the film it degenerates into pleasantries and small talk, like a fire being struck but no fire being made, which is somewhat unappealing. The relationship they present is neither friendship nor affection, and the dialogue sometimes even seems like small talk when it's not relevant, rather than building a connection between the characters. However, after breaking through the film's sluggish middle section, the latter part of the film is much more exciting in terms of unraveling the mystery, and the writers, Matthew and Stephen, manage to get the surprises and plot twists right, but it's a shame that they don't use their character's dialogue skills in the middle.
Overall 'Forbidden to Enter the Gunsite' takes the cool thriller to another level with an exciting escape story and bizarre twists and turns, not just a story about getting lost in the woods.

Have you noticed that films about gay people look more honest and do not have a hysterical atmosphere, unlike classic love films? I think that their couples are exactly the same in life. You can look at different stories from the dating site if you follow this link. My good friend is gay and he showed me this site so I can rate his new guy)
