Time For Some Gardening
Yesterday afternoon we had some sunshine which game me the opportunity to do some gardening. When we moved to our home, we had a very sloped garden which has taken a lot of hard work to flatten and convert into an allotment for us to grow some fruit and vegetables. Last year, we had plenty of raspberries and the squirrels had plenty of plastic netting and strawberries. We planted a cherry tree, 2 apple tress, a pear tree, a gooseberry bush, a blackberry bush and a grape vine so we are hopeful of a lot more fruit this year (if the squirrels do not eat it all again).
We have created a spot for composting and 4 sections to grow some vegetables in. We have planted some carrot and leek seeds directly outdoors and some courgette and sweectorn seeds in our propegator indoors so hopefully we will get plenty of vegetables too.
If you have any tips to help us to get a successful crop, I would be interested in hearing them.
Here are a couple of photographs of our garden.
– About Me –
I like the same things as most other people, animals, gardening, travelling, art, TV, music and films which is probably what I’ll write about most. I talk and swear too much and am always noticing things that I should not be noticing. I am the mother to two beautiful young boys and the wife to a caring husband. I live in London and love the city.

I love that you use every bit of space you have.
Thank you. We do not have a lot of room so try to do our best with what we have.
