GOOD AUTHORS !!! Let Us Desist From Plagiarism: Produce Genuine Content
Introduction
Before I will start I will like to thank those always post in this community to continue to share their post here. I will also like to thank the administrators for their hard work. One thing that steemit want from content creators is to provide and create their own post. Creating post sometimes are very difficult but that is the mean rules of steemitblog. Creating your post can be either in video, text or picture form. And sometimes, some people turn to copy text, images and videos, and then present it as their own. And it is called plagiarism. And since steemitblog doesn't want plagiarism. amazing-ghana must also ensure that community members produce genuine content. This is because Amazing Ghana is under steemitblog. We also don't accept post with copy and paste content.
What is plagiarism
This is the act of copying someone's own idea either from other books or from site on the internet and then presenting it their own. And other name you can call plagiarism is copy and paste, because someone will copy the post and from that place you present it. One thing that brings about plagiarism is laziness and it is better not to write at all. This is because, it is a disgrace to steal from someone's work. And it is also prohibited to do plagiarism in @amazing-ghana community. It is an act of thievery and we must all desist from it. I hope no one wants to be called a thief. If so, then let us do the right thing.
How to do Citation
Though plagiarism is not good, but on steemit blog or on steemit site there are good ways of presenting copy and paste content. And that will help the reader to know that this type of text was copied from somewhere. And the way of presenting plagiarism for people to know that you copy from somewhere is called citation. And you can do that by coping the link from the site you copied that text or image from. And by using this sign (>) in front of text and it will also shows that the text was copied from somewhere.
Example
Writing good content and staying away from plagiarism is a mark of a good author. We, Amazing-Ghana, therefore urge the writing of good content. Whenever items are taken from cites, there should be proper referencing since our platform frowns against thievery. We are confident that our members would not do that.Source

Plagiarism impede the development of the community. It is with my utmost hope that , members comply with plagiarism rules. That's why it is prudent for Newcomers to complete achievement tasks in order to have much better understanding under plagiarism. Proper acknowledgement or reference must given to content which does not belong to us. The post has highlighted all the important aspect of plagiarism. Well organised, good content coupled with good writing skills. Thank you for giving us such important piece of information.
