Walk around Canoner Island
I go for a walk on Canoner Island in those days when I want to look at the sea. Kanoner Island is the closest place to my home, which overlooks the Gulf of Finland. As a bonus I can make up a walking route to walk a little along the country roads, gently bypassing the wide puddles. In the city center with such elements of the landscape is difficult to meet :)
I took this walk in early September. It was beautiful sunny weather. Autumn was just beginning, so the leaves on the trees remained green mostly. I started my walk from the highway "Western high-speed diameter". This highway bypasses St. Petersburg from the side of the bay, it helps to greatly reduce the road time to the northern parts of the city.
I admired the beautiful flowerbeds and turned to the road leading to the unfavorable part of the island. It took me only a few hundred meters to meet the untrimed bushes and undried puddles.
The day before there was a strong storm, which fell many trees in the city. I met some fallen trees during this walk.
I walked on a long narrow braid. On one side of this braid stretches the Gulf of Finland, on the other side is the Sea Canal, and then there are the seaport territory. At the far end of the braid, you can find fishermen. Fishermen have equipped a small clearing for recreation.
On the way back, I noticed a point in the sky. This point was growing and growing, and finally, I saw both the sail and the athlete below, on the waves.
