Is climate change a myth?

Well, here in the Pacific Islands, we’re faced with the real threat of rising sea levels.

These pictures were taken right in front of my house from the same spot - the top one in May 2019 and the second one in January 2021.

We’ve lost 5 meters of shoreline in 2 years.

20- 30 years ago, the shore was some 30 meters away. The tree remains are one of those giant Calophyllum trees (tropical hardwoods) that protected my small village from the storms. We used to play under the trees and use the leaves & flowers as traditional medicine.
