22 May 2020 - Walk around the neighborhood
Brook running into the woods.
The Spring is going at it full force, producing more and more plants to fill in the once again emerging jungle.
Future butterfly - granted it survives, of course.
A neighborhood park I have driven by countless times - but, being lazy and busy, never found the time to visit. So I guess there is a first time for everything.
Volcanic pebble
The park is rather small. Which still doesn't take away from the quality of it.
Small community gardens
Bird house on the path
Out of the park, on my way home, I have found - but fortunately not stepped into - these plants. Around here, plants with these colors of leaves tend to be poisonous and can at times cause nasty burns.
Dead tree on the side of the road
Signs like this break my heart.
The sign looked a bit weathered so it may have been there for awhile. If the dog is still out there - the location was roughly at the corner of Pike Avenue and Steere Street. So if you see that dog - please do call the numbers listed.
And that was that - just a walk I took to take a break from it all.
