Glimpse of Natore

Here I am with another publication. Today I'll tell you a about a city of Bangladesh.

Natore

A North-western district of Bangladesh. It is situated in the Division of Rajshahi. Natore is a quite old city. It's one of the ancient cities of Bangladesh. Natore is very significant for it’s history & impact. Natore city is one of the biggest cities of Bangladesh.

Natore is very rich for it's contribution in the national history & culture. It's a very important place from early civilization in this locality. As its a part of the Varendra region, one of the most ancient civilization of this bengal.

The building you are seeing is the gate of a famous Bangladeshi place.It’s called ''Uttara Gonovobon/Northern People’s House''.It means it’s the northern residence of the honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh. He uses it when he visits the northern parts of Bangladesh.

It’s a very beautiful place. It's just beside the Natore-Bogra Highway. It was previously a palace named Dighapatia Rajbari. It's a signature of British architecture.

Natore is also famous for 'Chalon Bill'. Bill is a huge area of wetlands which is only seasonal. It remains full of water only in monsoon & afterwards.otherwise its just fields. Chalon Bill is the largest bill of Bangladesh &
it’s grater portion is in Natore.

It’s economy based on agriculture. Agricultural crops like paddy,potato & other corns and vegetables grow here. The people of Natore are simple & lead typical Bangladeshi life. Urban people are civilised. There are normal convenience & opportunities of urban life. Rural areas are not so lacking behind.

This photo was clicked also form the same area. A person is out for the grazing of his water buffalo. People there have cattles in almost every middle & lower-middle income family.

The road to the palace. This road leads to palace from the main town. It is a beautiful road. There are palm trees beside the two sides of the road in order. The picture was clicked just after the rain. So the picture became more beautiful.
