UNESCO World Heritage Site: Mount Hamiguitan.

Talking about rarely beautiful forests in the Philippines?. Our country has an answer to that.
Our country has something to be proud of, the Mount Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary in Davao Oriental, Mindanao’s first and only UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a range Wildlife Sanctuary that is most treasured jewel.
It has beautiful pygmy forest , hosts of biodiversity of flora and fauna, an ecological balance, which as of this time, we can seldom see and behold.

But Mount Hamiguitan is far from residential area, the trek of it is a little bit challenging because you may take up 3 days of walking in order to be at the peak of the mountain. If you do not have time and energy for that kind of adventure,you can still learn about the range of the mountain because the government of Davao Oriental decided to put a Mount Hamiguitan World Heritage Park and Natural Science Museum

It features a modern science museum. The facility that not only showcases the wonders of Mt. Hamiguitan but also educate the people for participating the mountain’s conservation efforts by introducing them to its rich flora and fauna, and what it means for humanity.

Mount Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary wasn’t revealing its beauty too easy but the visitor has to earn it.

My experience in visiting this kind of scenery is spectacular. This kind of experience is worth to remember and treasure and be shared to others.
