Imagine that you and a computer are like two incredible machines working together to do cool stuff. Both of you need special parts to help you function, and these parts do similar jobs. Let's take a look at how operations are done.

The Brain and the Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Just like your brain controls everything you do like thinking, moving, and deciding, computers have a brain too. It's called the CPU. The CPU, which is short for Central Processing Unit is what tells the computer to perform tasks. It tells the computer what to do, just like your brain tells you when to walk, talk, or play.

Input Devices and the Senses

Your body has "input" tools, like your eyes, ears, and hands. They help you see, hear, and touch things, so you can understand what's happening around you. Computers also have input tools, like a keyboard, mouse, or camera. These help the computer know what to do by receiving information, just like your senses.

Memory and Storage

Just like you remember things like your favorite color or your friend’s name, a computer has memory too. There are two kinds of memory: short-term memory (Random Access Memory (RAM)), where computers keep things they’re working on right now, and long-term memory (storage or hard drive), where they keep things they want to remember for a long time, like your photos and games. This is like how you remember things for a moment (like someone's phone number) or for a long time (like your birthday).

Hands and Legs vs. Output Devices

When your brain decides to do something, like pick up a chair, your hands move to do it. In the same way, when the CPU decides something, it tells the computer's output devices, like the screen or speakers, to show pictures, make sounds, or print words. Your hands and legs do things in the world, and the computer's output devices do things you can see and hear. Magical, right?

Food and Electricity

You need food to give you energy so you can walk, run, and even carryout daily activities. Computers need energy too, but they get it from electricity instead of food. Without electricity, the computer wouldn’t be able to turn on or do anything, just like how you need food to keep your body strong and ready to go.

Health and Maintenance

Just like you need to take care of your body by eating well, sleeping well, and visiting the doctor, computers need to be taken care of, too. Sometimes, they need to be cleaned, updated, or repaired to keep working properly. This is necessary, especially when it becomes slow. Just think of it like when you fall sick. You can't do or carry out your day's activities. The same thing applies to the computer system.

In conclusion, the human body and computers are incredible systems with special parts that help them work. Thank you for taking the time to read my content. I've been away from Steemit for a very long time, but I am back now. It's good to be back.
