BATTLE CHALLENGE WITH WAVE RUNNER
Hello Splinterland warriors!
Another week of Battle challenge with another monster from the Water family that i have upgraded to level 5 in Gold so i am participating in this challenge which is hosted by the Splinterlands team thanks Always for the great support and arranging these challenges for us on weekly basis.
Edition: REWARD
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Reach at level 1; Knock Out at level 5; Snare at level 9
Well, I am not a big fan of this card and i am not that much using it in my battles because it costing 5 mana cap and the mana is very less in almost every battle so using this monster is not a good choice for me because there are many good cards that i can use in my battle to win the game.
In the battle lineup, i will explain each card one by one that i used in the specific position for this lineup and battle to win this battle with the card that i used for this week challenge.
ALRIC STORMBRINGER is a beta Water summoner that i am using mostly because of its awesome ability that adds one magic attack to all friendly monsters and also it cost only 3 mana so using this summoner instead of legendary would be a nice choice for you. I remember when i bought this summoner just by only investing $15 and now it is worth something like $260 so if i am going to sell this card at current price i would get roughly $245 profit from this card but i will never ever sell it because this is faar bettter than bortus.
Healing monsters is always cool because it can not die easily and quickly because of it self healing ability. However, it was a bad lineup that using this card with no armor addition could be a dangrous because it can easily target by other monsters because of it slow speed so always put a chicken before this card to save this card at some point.
In the second position, I went for the reach ability monster and also a main monster of this week battle challenge Wave Runner which is a common reward card but gives you a nice and powerful melee attack with reach ability but the mana cap is a little bit high that we can not use in little leagues So this card works well by hitting the front enemy monster to kill them easily by reaching itself from the 2nd position. However, i have this card at level 5 in Gold foil worth $52 where the knockout ability gets unlocked.
In the third position, i used the great monster which is a rare card but so powerful and useful in the water splinter especially when there is a ruleset when the monster lose all abilities and if the enemy used his non attack card in the front position then this card is a beast to kill that enemy monster within two attacks only because of its oppress ability.
Adjusting your mana cap for a better line up is not an easy job because sometime two or three mana left in your lineup so choosing a better monster with an ability could be a perfect one but sometime we use a useless monster that can not save the battle so i went for this little ice pixe which is a magic monster so this will target the life of enemy team instead of its armor.
Reducing the range attack is must to weaken your enemy team back line monsters because sometime they use a monster which adds range attack or summoner for adding range attack like zaku and selina sky but Naga windmaster is a beast to stop adding the range attack to enemy team because it will reduce one range attack and also if there is an armor ruleset it can easily destroy the armor of that monster with its shatter ability.
Last but not the least here is a rare water elemental that is used in the last position to protect my other back line monster from the sneak ability monsters like sand worms and others so this monster can heal it self so can not be killed easily by a less melee attack monster and also can give you a powerful range attack.
Of course my strategy work for me and hope you guys enjoyed the battle better to choose the wave runner card in the rulset where the knockout ability works.
