'A Simple Song’ — Poem

I'm writing for you, and I am writing this song
And singing out loud and hitting it strong
The guitar strings are vibrating so long
In the music world, I belong.

The notes have feelings as I do it for you
My heart is bound to you; I had no clue
From the first note of the song, I already knew
That you are rare on Earth, one of the few.

Unique to say, the song is on my head
The notes attached to our souls by a very thick thread
With vibration, the notes and love both spread
Never let you go even if I am dead.

Heads up! A song for our love I did wrote,
In eternal space, my love for you does float
Life is too short, and from our music, I quote
"You are the one who saved me like an antidote
And for eternity, my love for you, I will devote"
