Umm...title...title....Cumber is stronger than Cumber!
No one can seem to get this right about Fu and about Cumber. So once again, it falls to me to explain SDBH for everyone else. Once again? O I’ve got videos. My YOUTUBE was terminated, so it’s all been banished to the Shadow Realm. Odysee.
So, here it is.
1:16:00 “SS4 Vegito did better against Cumber than Vegito Blue”
That’s not what happened.
Cumber was weakened by Fu. It was not inconsistency that had SSG Kakarot fighting Normal Cumber that well right after Vegito Blue tried to. Fu weakened Cumber with that energy slash.
Most of Cumbers energy in that fight was given to him by Fu in the first place. Fu “reigned him in” the purple energy slash wasn’t for no reason. It wasn’t a physical slash. Fu drained energy out of Cumber with that sword. He didn't cut Cumbers tail off either and absorbing the Power Ball doesn't end a Great Ape form. Turles immediately blew up his Power Ball in Movie 3 and Gohan stayed a Great Ape until Kakarot cut his tail off with his Energy Disc. So the only reason Cumbers Great Ape form ended is that Fu drained energy from him. Fu says in the anime that he can give energy to others to power them up.
What you have there is a weaker SS3 Cumber than the Cumber that fought Vegito Blue Kaioken. Weaker or relatively similar to the prior Cumber.
This fixes all the other problems like Jiren fighting Cumber and doing better than Vegito Blue Kaioken did. Yeah that’s because this Cumber is weaker than the Cumber that fought Vegito Blue. Simple as that.
The same with Golden Meta Cooler VS Cumber. This SS3 Cumber is still weaker, or relatively close to the Cumber VS Vegito Blue Kaioken of the Prison Planet Arc.
Later, Hearts returns the energy that Fu stole to Cumber. Then he is back to his full power and stronger than before, and fighting Vegeta Blue. And it takes a similar to MUI power increase for Vegeta to easily beat SS3 Cumber here. But this Cumbers normal form is superior to the SS3 Cumber that Xeno Vegito SS4 fought against.
And so MUI Kakarot VS Normal Cumber way back then, was also fighting a weaker Normal Cumber, than Vegito Blue fought against.
And that’s why Jiren was doing so well, against Normal Cumber in comparison to MUI Kakarot and Vegito Blue. Because only Vegito Blue fought the strong version of Normal Cumber.
Make sense? How do people not understand what Fu did when he slashed Cumber with that purple energy Sword? Fu explains his powers in SDBH more than once and in Xenoverse the Xenoverse 2 version of Fu explains what he can do too. And he’s a different Fu with even more broken powers. The purple energy flashing all over Cumbers body, Fu SAID he will reign him in because he’s destroying the barrier. It’s not a physical slash. Fu literally gives people energy in the entire series and explains that he can. The pod he had Cumber in. Like, you realize Fu can use Cumbers Evil Aura from his sword and make Vegeta and Kakarot go nuts right? You see this later on before they fuse again.
The explanation is all right there. It wasn’t an inconsistency. Your misunderstanding of the material causes the inconsistency in your head.
That is not GT Kakarot.

Xeno Kakarot, fights GT Kakarot, in the DBH manga from Yoshitaka Nagayama before the SDBH anime. They go to the GT timeline, they fuse into Xeno Gogeta SS4, to fight GT Gogeta SS4 because he is possessed by a demon named Fin.
“Robelu tells Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta to fuse and much to Xeno Goku's surprise, Xeno Vegeta agrees, having felt Dabura's new found might. Becoming Xeno Gogeta, he immediately transforms into a Super Saiyan 4. Witnessing the resulting fusion, Dabura wonders if it would be in their best interest to retreat seeing that the Time Patrol have allied themselves with Demigra and his minions. Towa agrees but just then a being emerges from the rubble, it is Fin, having now absorbed and gained the power of the present timeline Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta.”

Xeno Kakarot is not GT Kakarot in SDBH.
GT SS4 Gogeta is possessed by a demon called Fin and instant kills Omega Shenron in a flash before battling Xeno Gogeta.
Xeno Kakarot has nothing to do with the GT Kakarot. This continues from Yoshitaka Nagayamas DBH manga. I suggest reading it to see why he’s not GT Kakarot.
They make him with a wish from Xeno Trunks memories. The time patroller Trunks of this story. Not Xenoverse Trunks or any other DBH Trunks. This is a new one. It’s very close to the beginning of Trunks Time Patrol career.
And it’s right after the first main battle of the DBH manga from Dark Demon Realm Saga.
This manga has no DBS characters and Trunks has never visited a DBS timeline in the DBH manga. In fact, in the DBH manga, they never include DBS. At all. So Chronoa, uses a wish, for Trunks to bring the strongest fighter of his memories here. And he spawns a SS4 Kakarot. But it’s not the GT Kakarot. It’s not literally him, since they go to GT timeline and fuse to fight GT Gogeta much later on.
And then shortly after, they have Xeno Vegeta show up too. But I forget how they do that.
They never visit a DBS timeline in that DBH manga, so of course they’re using SS4 because Trunks has never heard of a SSG. Or a Lord Beerus or any of that here. So he didn’t make it confusing or a choice out of SS4 or SSG for Kakarot. Kept it simple.
They do end up using one DBS form in that manga.
