Autumn walk in the Oranienbaum park (St. Petersburg) (6 pictures visual story)
Today I want to share photos from another autumn walk. While in St. Petersburg, despite the lack of free time, I tried to use more often the opportunities to visit and see, as well as photograph local sights.
This time on a weekend my niece and I went to the city of Lomonosov to visit the local park Oranienbaum. This is not just a park, but a palace and park ensemble. There are several palaces, various gazebos and sculptures, many alleys and ponds.
The territory of the park is quite large. We were unable to bypass it entirely. In addition, it was not very bright by the time we arrived. But thanks to the autumn colors, the park still looked magical. I think that it would be quite pleasant to visit here on a warm summer evening.
In my photographs, I tried to convey this atmosphere. By the way, I decided to test my glass ball here. But when shooting on the phone, it turned out not clear enough. However, in this photo you can still see several ducks swimming in the pond.
I must say that when I visit such places, I always note that Russian emperors knew how to show off. All these parks and palaces around St. Petersburg are gorgeous. And it's pretty nice that all of this has survived to this day. And we can enjoy a walk in such places.
I strongly recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.
