India is a land of festivals and every day is a festival here. Major festivals are of Hindu community but all religious festivals are celebrated together. Here in this photo a Muslim shop keeper is selling Rakhi for a Hindu festival Raksha bandhan celebrated in August month every year.

Sisters tie a thread (Rakhi) on brother's wrist and brother gives assurance of safety to sisters.

All festivals of India are unique and celebrated with enthusiasm.
