Simple method of making trichocompost fertilizer.

How are you all? Hope everyone is well. Today I will share with you the methods of making trichocompost. Hope you can make trichocompost with this method. Trichocompost is an organic fertilizer made using a beneficial fungus called Trichoderma. It helps in improving soil health and crop productivity. It also acts as a fertilizer and fungicide. The process of making trichocompost is quite simple, but to make it properly there are some steps to follow:

Steps to make trichocompost:

• Cow dung (fresh or dry) but dry dung works best for making trichocompost. It has high fertilizer content and no nematode attack.

• Straw or paddy husk

• Trichoderma Fungal Culture or Fungal Chemical.

• Soil (sandy loam soil is best)

• Water (amount of water required or a pea line)

Primary level:

Dig a 1x1 meter pit in a shaded area or add a 10-15 cm thick layer of cow dung on top of the soil. Or you can use a concrete floor according to the rules I showed. In our area, the floor of the house is usually used. (Special note: For commercial trichocomposting, it is best to use a light raised floor.) But if you want to make it for your home or garden, you can use polythene with holes. This will reduce your fixed costs.

Add 10-15 cm thick straw or paddy husk on the dung layer. Or you can use your straw sunnies. Then sprinkle 1-2% soil mixed with trichoderma fungus over this layer. You must apply it sparingly. Special Note: Excessive application may be harmful to young plants. So we must calculate and apply. (Sandy soil is very good for mixing Trichoderma.) It can easily be mixed with dung manure.

Spraying water:

Spray the required amount of water on this layer, so that the mixture is damp but not wet. If you want, you can make a stagnant drain so that the water can easily mix with the fertilizer through small holes. Or can use very thin pipe. Do not wet the inside of the manure with water from the chicken pipe. If you want, you can apply water with the help of a watering machine.

Multi layer Format:

As per the method shown by me, make several more layers in the same way (dung, straw, soil mixed with trichoderma) until the layer height reaches 1 meter. Water spraying is mandatory at every level. Fertilizers will not work properly if not enough water is sprayed. So we have to do things seriously. We must adopt the right approach to doing business.

Remix:

Turn the compost mixture every 15 days to ensure adequate oxygen circulation. This will increase the effectiveness of the fungus and prepare the compost faster. If the amount of trichocompost is high, we will reverse the mixture of compost after 10 days. We must cut and blend from one side to the other. Then our fertilizers will look good and there will be more demand in the market.

Temperature Monitoring:

The temperature inside the compost can reach up to 50-60 degrees Celsius. The mixture will be completely ready when the temperature comes down. If the temperature is high for many days, the effectiveness of the fungus will decrease, so we need to measure the temperature and prepare the mixture. If the temperature is effective, the quantity of organic fertilizer will be active.

Maturity:

Trichocompost should be applied around the roots of the plant. It increases soil nutrients and protects plants from harmful fungi and diseases. Tri Compost is a very good and beneficial fertilizer to control harmful diseases like downy mildew. Using this fertilizer can simultaneously increase soil fertility and control fungus. Herbaceous plants benefit most from the use of this tri-compost.
